**Normally Risey goes to the arena, but I am thinking after Coralle and Belle came inside, it was Saly and Blomke's turn in the arena. I think Yvonne was just trying to find a way to get Risey outside, too. His time in the paddock would not be very long so no worries about it being small. Since the horses can't go outside to the meadow yet because the ground is too wet and soggy after tons of rain, Yvonne is trying to improvise. mod shelly 🧡🧡**

Make the best with whatever is available to you is a good way to live life fully. I think it is lovely that Rising Star gets to feel the wind, breathe fresh air and see his fellow stallmates for more than a quick moment as they pass by his stall. 😊

Those of you concerned that Risey's new paddock is too small. A paddock is a small holding area. Not a pasture. Not an arena. Just a small area to be outside near others and not in the stall. It is for being outside a short while, like when the stall is being cleaned or if a riding or driving horse will be needed soon. Trust Yvonne. ❤

*Everyone PLEASE read the 'PINNED' post by Shellyross who is a Moderator on this channel. She explains it all as to why our King Rising Star is in the small area. The pastures/paddocks are too wet & dangerous for any horses to be in.... so Yvonne has set up the small sections to get all horses some fresh air and time outside... plus it gives Yvonne & team time to clean up their mucky stalls. 🙂Trust Yvonne as she knows what she is doing, plus we are all only seeing a small part of the day. They all get time in the arena... and RS must have rest time due to him having wobblers.. So lets all have a AWESOME day or evening where ever you are around the world 🙂nz*

I love the NEW small paddocks! Risey can walk around and visit with his neighbor, BiBi, but the paddock isn't big enough for him to go crazy and hurt himself. No galloping or bucking for you, Rising Star! 😉 Mathilde CAN do anything! She is such a great friend to the whole Horjus family!!! The paddock for Risey was a great idea. He can be outside longer this way. Once the meadows dry out he and the others will be able to go out onto them but until then this is a good solution. Besides he gets to talk to Bibi! Good job, Yvonne and Mathilde. ❣❣

With the pastures too wet for turn-out it takes team work & ingenuity to come up with solutions until things dry out. You guys are awesome! So much better than slippery mud where horses can easily hurt themselves. Goedzo!

Risey is so handsome. Also it's wonderful the way he trusts and loves Yvonne. Dieweke is such affectionate and friendly doggie. She wants to befriend cutie pie Shiney. Shiney is sooo tiny. Pastures that are sopping wet are slippery. RS could hurt himself. Any of the horses could. Every stable has small "sacrifice" paddocks full of sand, gravel or wood chips that the horses can go into during the winter. All of Yvonne's nice pastures would be ruined and torn up by these heavy 1,200 pound animals if they were out there, not to mention that it would be dangerous for them. They all have their time to run and roll in the arena. 💙❤

The wind and rain is just like we have been having in Oklahoma this spring. Crazy wind. How clever to make that paddock for Risey. He can get more fresh air and be outside when you clean stalls. What a wonderful group of friends you have. Tiny Shiney's new haircut🥰

With all the wind and leaves moving around and the sounds to hear RS is doing just fine. And he is to busy checking everything out to know that ( AAA HHH) l' m in a little place. EEEKK the sky the sky is falling and there's no where to go to.. lt would be totally different if that's all he has and nothing else, and that's where RS was 24/7/365 period.!!!! But he is not and any other horse's or the ponys could go in there too. So think about what you are looking at, and if there's more to what you are seeing than what you think.. Keep up the good work Guys and put RS to work!!! He needs a job and as the resident lawnmower he can learn to make designs in the grass. Give it a think. He just might like it and get really good at it; who knows. Have a good laugh and giggles over this. Byebye for know.

I would like to see a video on Risey having his feet trimmed, as it would be interesting to see how this is done with a Wobbler horse to ensure safety for all involved. Also if there is a benefit to trimming hooves shorter to help with balance?

It's windy outside here today, and I'm not game to cross the lawn. There's Mathilde, standing on the top fence rail, sawing off tree branches, the wind all around her. And she looks so pretty doing it. What a great asset she is to Stal H. Risey has a pocket paddock -yay!

I love this photo of Risey, Daisy, Teije, & you❣Teije's smile is so full of joie de vivre, eh? Once I saw a series of photos in which every year a child was photographed on his birthday standing in the exact same place. It was done until he was ~20 yo & then, it was amazing to see all the photos layed out together...to see all the changes over time. Your photo here made me want to suggest maybe you could do the same w/Teije & Daisy in the same place as this photo...It's pretty cool for kiddos to see themselves thru that lens, espec b/c using same place shows ratios of growth/change...a little like a time-lapse film😻

That was quite windy, I'm glad Mathilde didn't get blown off the fence, she has great balancing skills besides all her other talents🤗. You girls make a great team and have fun at it too.. Nice paddock for Risey and next to a friend too. Shiney is the perfect sized friend for Dieuke, they are eye to eye with each other. Nice clipping job on those tiny legs.
