I wanted this so badly when I heard about Fright NIght making a return. I'm betting she was on the short list of champs that could've gotten skins for this thematic, but they could only have one yordle mage per skin line and Veigar was a more suitable candidate for a legendary skin. Still sucks though... she would've been perfect for it. With that said, I have one more idea for a skin line Vex could be a part of this year. If they plan on doing more Winterblessed skins, Winterblessed Vex could be an Ebeneezer Scrooge type character and Shadow could be one of the ghosts of Christmas (most likely the ghost of Christmas Future). It'd work with the thematic, would be a great fit for her character, and would be vastly different from any of her current cosmetics.

Fun fact, the VA for this skin, Scott McNeil, is the same VA as Final Boss Veigar and Veigar in Legends of Runeterra. Honestly, I'd love it if they gave Veigar an ASU and have McNeil just do the base skin's voice lines as well. Veigar's base voice feels too... shrill. It gets kind of grating after a full game of hearing it, but I don't feel that way at all about this VA.
