The sixth album, if given the opportunity to fully come into being, would no doubt have been an incredibly lush, dreamy, soulful affair- based on the sound of this and the Recorded Songs ep. I actually get a bit of Aereogramme’s Story In White or Sleep and Release in here, without the shouty, heavy bits. It’s absolutely beautiful. But on how many more songs could he have gone on to sing about how disillusioned he was with life, how he was suffering and wanted to leave this world? From interviews it sounded like he wanted so much to get away from writing about such personal, dark themes, but they obviously continued to haunt him so terribly. It is not fair that such a sweet, soulful man should’ve been so tortured in his mind.

This is the second night I have been listening to this song on repeat with white wine. I will never stop feeling the lump in my throat on every listen. If only Scott had waited just a little longer. I'm blown away. Every band member on this track syncs in with this emotional weight. My heart goes out to family and band members when its time for this years Christmas lights x

I love how the beat is so quiet that it only supports the melodies and sounds and doesn't feel oppressive - which happens a lot in other bands. Very beautiful sound, very beautiful lyrics, all in all it's just a genuinely brilliant, subtle yet powerful song.

If anyone at FR Official is listening, please re-release this EP. There are so few copies that it's fetching ridiculous prices. It's the only thing I'm missing. I'm sure many would be interested. Also will the 6th album ever see the light of day? I'm sure I read that Scott had recorded his vocals. Anything at all? Obviously without his strong input into the arrangements, but even a stripped bare FR album is better than nothing.

It's not a song that's up for sale anywhere. It was released in December of last year as a download where it was asked that people make a donation to an Alzheimers charity. I think here and Soundcloud are the only places to listen to it online.
