My daughter just mentioned this when we went on it on Sunday. She thought it was weird to have a spooky house not so spooky for the Halloween season. She still has not ridden it as the original because we usually go during October, and when we went in March both times, she wasn't with us.

I love the Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion. It’s my favorite to ride at Halloween AND Christmas, but we always watch the movie at Halloween. 🎃 🎄

Nightmare before Christmas is both a Halloween and Christmas movie. Halloween tries to take over Christmas is the whole premise of the movie. So it’s fitting that Jack keeps the Haunted Mansion until Christmas.

Liz is correct....they should only have the overlay for Christmastime, because TNBC is, indeed, a Christmas movie...and here's why: It's a take off on "The Night Before Christmas"...Christmas Eve.....it's about bringing Halloween to Christmas...giving those kids those freaky monster oriented gifts to open on Christmas morning.....not the other way around...or extending the combination of the two Holidays backwards to the beginning of halloween time! Therefore, the overlay should only be during Christas time.....HM is already spooky for Halloween, anyway...just as it is! Great fun in this one!

I was there on Sunday the 3rd. Haunted Mansion was 100 minutes all day long. Luckily, I had a lightning lane available, so I was able to get right on. 😊 Later in the day, even the lightning lane was super long. One day, I hope to see you in person! You both get me through the withdrawals I have of not being in my happy place!

Tickets are not cheap. Save up money and you buy tickets for you and your mom. Mow lawns, wash cars, collect recyclables, babysit, lots of ways to make a few bucks. Ask your mom if you can earn some money doing chores around the house? Everything is so expensive and I'm sure your mom would appreciate you trying to earn a trip to Disneyland.
