*humiditer We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*

In case someone finds this video while looking for this model in 2020, they are by far the nicest unit on the market by every measure but they only last 2 years. It took me 2 months to get in touch with Fridgidair due to a very common F0 Fault Code that means the entire system failed. I wanted it repaired but they will only replace it with a new model that is smaller in capacity, discharges air to the top not the side, and looks like it was made in a tiny Chinese factory. The quality appears much less than the model in this video. I bought a Arctic King 50pt from Walmart for $229 that I like better than the latest Fridgidair. No idea how long it will last yet.

Excellent review. Straight forward, simple & quick. Thank you. Btw, how long did this model last for you. I’ve read many owners reported F0 errors after 2 months or up to 2 years.

Hello. We are using the drain connector, but it's begun leaking at the hose connection. We've tried multiple hoses, changed out the rubber gaskets and hoses, cleaned the connector, tried using plumber's tape, to no avail. Still leaks. We found a new connector on genuine parts direct, but we're going to try to McGuyver it first by bypassing the threads on the part where it connects to the hose and using a fitted clear vinyl hose (the connection to the hose is where the problem is). Have you run into this problem and if so, what have you found the solution is? Thanks.

How much do you think it cost to run a day? Or per hour? My calculations is 13 cents an hour or 1.50 a day

Someone please help. I just bought his unit and I feel like it's not collecting water fast enough. I ran it all night and my humidity level only drops 1% from 50% to 49%. the bucket is only half full. Before this I own a Danby 70 pint unit and the bucket gets full in 3 to 4 hours and the humidity level drops drastically from 50% to 35% based on what my setting would be. can someone please confirm if this unit collects water very slow or is mine not working properly. Thank you in advance

DO NOT buy this model or entire brand. There are tons of complain online about the fault code and non-function problem. Some of them worked only 2 or 4 months. I bought one 11 months ago. it also has fault code problem. It is so disappointed,

Nice review. Just keep in mind the humidity censor you got is cheap, so it may be registering 47% humidity when the actual humidity could be much less or closer to the 40% you set it to.
@DriveByReviews7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I don't expect pin point accuracy, as long as its within 10% accuracy. I've been impressed with how well it's been handling 1500 sq feet in an area of high humidity. In the winter it was removing 70 pints of moisture every 2 days!

What is the point in locking the device? Just so you don't mess with the controls if you sleep walk? I really don't understand the purpose of this function. Maybe it so kids can't screw around with it. That's the only thing I can think of and I just thought about that. I just got this humidifier. I initially purchased a haier. It does a good job but it has to run non stop to keep humidity at 45%. I hope this frigidaire can do better.

No way I am buying another one of these. It lost it's refrigerant after two years. The repair service told me that fixing the unit - labor only - would cost more than buying a new one. At $250 each, I will not be buying this unit nor any Fridigaire Dehumidifier .... I get no response from Fridigarie to my complaints about this breakdown.
