It does need a topper comfort however, you are missing a hook on the bottom of the storage space to keep the extended part from sliding away from the rest of the couch.

Yes! Its one of the last steps in the manual, and at first didnt know what it was for and was planning to skip it. But im glad i didnt!

You didn't build it properly.. It's not supposed to roll away like that. There are clips to connect it together

So I bought this sofa (skiftebo dark gray), but it appears kind of blue. Bear it in mind, I was surprised, I expected gray.

For months you didn't know that was storage? How? Did you not look at what kind of couch you're buying? Not only that, when you put it together, you would've found out, right? To add further weirdness, the pull-out section shouldn’t roll away like that - it just wasn’t assembled properly. My guess is… she didn’t have anything to do with putting it together, and whoever did it for her, missed bits.

It’s fine… but NEVER buy the black vinyl one. It flakes like mad, and produces tiny black specks that get on your skin, and which you have to pick at to get off.

Really uncomfortable even with toppers if you have fibromyalgia or muscle pain. Goes bobbly as well.

man, it's one piece. why couldn't they have made the long seat and the other love seat separable. Then you could move the long seat on the left or right whenever you want, and even arrange each piece in a long bed.

actually you can choose to move it from right to left. we did , when we moved it to the basement - so we needed to be on the other side.

I have this sofa, it's terrible. At first it was great, but it becomes unhooked very very frequently the hooks don't stop it from coming apart, if you read the reviews on ikea it tells you this, I wish I read them. The side of the sofa slides down and its horrible

They should stop it but depends of the position the hooks don’t the the job

yes the hooks stop it, but it is too easy move the additional part of the sofa, so when we were on top of it, it moved by itself.
