FRILLRUN - Gain Jam 2024

Shweetmagnet has done wonderfully on Frillrun. Playing as the frilled underling getting food for the frilled matriarch by getting bread that grows on the ground. The underling has great power with the turquoise amulet, but chose to give it to the frilled matriarch as a gift for all the work it done. She used the amulet to feed her underling as they did to her. Best ending ever.

I honestly expected the game to end with the matriarch getting eaten, just from the way the story was progressing and how the underling got hungrier as the game went on.

@@Smonkorn8386 maybe, but the text in the ending did imply that if you get better medals you would get better and different endings, allegedly. and the fact she got one silver medal may have affected that she go the "OK ending"

The theme of the jam was unexpected outcomes, so I wanted the story to reflect that, too. I suppose vore would've been unexpected too, but it's not up my alley, lol. There's only three endings, and they're definitely an inversion of what the game was up to that point, I'll just say...

seems like it's some sort of a submisison kink scenario maybe i wouldn't overthink it tbh And the moral is to treat ur underlings well ig but it is delivered at very end, making it awkward
