I like how Peter reveals how much, and often, he's thought about the two of them together. He's been more open with Olivia that everyone in his life to that point.

Once they truly took that step, yes, they just went all in for it. Those lines could sound completely wrong , but Jackson makes it work. Peter believes every word of it.

He just looks so calm all the time. All throughout episode 9, and now this scene. Can't he simply SHOW that he's upset by what happened? If I were Olivia I'd have difficulty believing him when he said sorry, too - he certainly doesn't look it.

He was expressing his anger in other ways, by going rogue n killing shapeshifters. Peter was angrier than olivier

What I never understood was that Peter and Olivia knew each other as children in Florida and yet that remembrance never came up when they were adults. When Olivia first recruited Peter to get Walter out of the hospital they treated each other as strangers and the whole time their relationship developed they never came to realize that they had known each other from many years before in the Tulip field. My other bugaboo is that Peter never told Olivia he loved her except in the fantasy she had about him. I found that odd considering how much he cared for her.

we heard him say I love you at least once in season 5 episode 9 I think he say it sooner but I can"t remember when probably at the end of season 4! Olivia shoud remember with her photographic memoy and Peter should remember that he tried to go home by breaking the ice And I think they both blocked their memories from that time because (maybe) from the trauma. I mean we know Olivia was really scared when she was little and experienced upon and that must have been really scary and strange to be with strangers that's looks like his parents He probably felt like he was insane.

Actually, it is Season 5 Episode 12 at around 23 minutes that he says he loves her. It is right before Olivia goes to rescue Michael on Liberty Island. I just re-watched the episode.

yes you are right ( I just checked episode 9) but what he said in the episode 9 is pretty much an I love you so that must be why i did htis mistake! :)

Bobbotov You might recall that both Peter and Olivia had issues remembering their childhoods. Either they blocked out those memories because of the associated trauma (Peter with the kidnapping; Olivia with the Cortexiphan trials) or because of something Walter did. Peter had no recall of ever meeting Olivia or going to Jacksonville and Olivia didn't have any recall of being dosed until the Fringe events started to introduce other Cortexiphan subjects.
