The world needs a Fringe prequel series set in the 70s and 80s now! It a great idea waiting to happen in the current era of rebooting classics TV shows, but not on FOX! Hello random Netflix executive reading this comment.

Honestly if not for the 16:9 aspect ratio (and maybe the font choices) this could really have passed off as something that’s legitimately from the 1980’s.

@@adithyamahesh6961 They're not really meant to be taken like that. They're just areas of Fringe sciences. I mean, the last season has "Community, Joy, Individuality, Education, Imagination, Private Thought, Due Process, Ownership, Free Will, Freedom"

Back in the 80s personal computing was only beginning to be a thing among small circles and it was very expensive and not that advanced back then. Something like the Apple Watch or touch screen phones was the stuff of dreams back then.
@esaedvik5 жыл бұрын
@@1Cortexiphan I wouldn't call 80s personal computers (some of which sold tens of MILLIONS), "small circles". That said, Commodore 64 had 12 years to sell those numbers, they didn't sell millions at launch, like modern devices do.
