Yay!!! Yes, one of her favorites. I was just in Tacoma at Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat and I believe I spotted some of them in the vendor hall. They're lovely!

Buenas tardes.

I have been watching some of your youtube videos and am very interested in the process of tapestry. Having said that, I am wondering if all tapestry techniques can be achieved on an 8 shaft floor loom. I love your enthusiasm.

You only need two shafts for tapestry though I use 4 warped 1, 2, 3, 4, and tied up for tabby on my floor looms. All tapestry techniques can be woven on two shafts and many tapestry looms don't have shedding at all including the ones most people use for Fringeless.

Can this be done on a backstrap loom? Does your video include that type of weaving?
@RebeccaMezoffTapestry5 жыл бұрын
No. Sarah does do three-selvedge things on a backstrap loom but we definitely don't cover that in this course. It is all taught on frame looms. Sarah does have lots of information on her blog about backstrap weaving and she sells an instruction guide on her etsy shop. Her website is afieldguidetoneedlework.com (A Fieldguide To Needlework). Check that out!
