As a lunatic at Colchester I feel personally attacked by this.

Colchester? But that's a million miles away! What can Colcestrians know of Frinton, Frintonians and our Frinton ways? From their Colchester lunatic asylum? Automatic gates are witchcraft!

he wasnt saying they werent controlled by pulling and pushing them, the new system would have automated them by making go up and down with puttons hence his comedy buttons, so i think its you that needs to get your facts straight, the shirt collars are deliberatly large as its one of his trade marks. you are in obvious need of a sense of humour and take things too seriously

What an unfunny man he is. He should sort out his facts before making a joke about something, I.E, our gates open by a man pushing and pulling them, not going up and down. He also needs to sort out his shirt collar.

" *Our* gates"! You feel ownership! Over a second rate way of running a level crossing, about 50 years after the rest of the country moved to automatic ones.
