It was not the writers at all he was under contract with CBS and they would not let him return to his previous role in a competing network

It wasn't the writers' fault that Frisco "deserted" his kids. Frisco was essentially written out of the show because the actor wanted to concentrate on his singing career, and they didn't think recasting the character would be accepted by fans.

@@cathygretch7824 the writers write the show. If GH doesn’t want to recast, then how they write his exit is their fault. If they are lazy and don’t want to write an exit true to who the character is that’s on the writers.

Yes. I was thinking that too. She knows how Frisco feels about his Father, he refused to go to his Father's funeral because he hated him for disrespecting his Mother, and having an affair with the Nurse and then marrying her shortly after his Mother's death... He never forgave his Father, and reconciled with him. So why would she all of a sudden bring up his Father, when it is a subject so painful for Frisco...

Plus it's frustrating that Frisco tells Tony he (Frisco) never had a father (understandable that he would feel that way and not forgive him), when he ends up deserting his own kids. And then when she's an adult, expects Maxie to understand and forgive him.

it's so funny their discussing names when his son is given his father's name and people forget Jack's name is really Peter John Wagner like his father only he goes by his middle name and his SAG name is Jack P Wagner---his father passed away before his son was born and Jack wrote a song Keeper of the Name and comes from a close knit family---after he and Kristina split and she went back to school his sons stayed with him---they both very close to their sons

The writers did not search the history earlier on when their dad died and his feelings about him. I'm surprised they did the birth of their long awaited child like this. It should have been a happy time for them not Frisco being upset like this.

Someone kinda dropped the ball here, because Felicia was fully aware of Frisco's feelings about his father and why. At the same time, I didn't like that Frisco got angry with Felicia. They just had a baby - it should be a joyous time. He should have let it go. And Felicia's right that the baby will likely have some physical and tempermental traits of its parents and grandparents.

Too bad Tony couldn't respect his brother's feelings about their father - just because he feels differently doesn't mean Frisco needs to feel as Tony does. But, given Tony's frequent disrespectful comments/behavior towards his brother, I'm not surprised he felt a need to take him to task for this on this happy occasion, of all things. But, Tony always thought he was right - about everything.

I wonder if that is Peter, in a pink blanket, because Peter was born a month or so before Maxie, and the baby looks around a month to 6 weeks old.. too wide eyed to be a new born. That was funny when Felicia goes Isabella and Frisco goes no that sounds like a cow.. haha.. They were so funny together.. both have senses of humors..

Thier dad cheated on their mom having an affair with nurse when their mom was very sick and dying. That nurse became thier Step Mom. Tony was sleeping with the nurse.
