Chara is a true conceptual demon, Frisk (Genocide route) could never win against her because she REBIRTH thanks to his actions. She was always behind Frisk's actions because they had a very similiar soul, and were somewhat more connected to eachother. She was Genocide Frisk's determined hate.

It's interesting how over the course of the battle that Chara is showing Frisk how all the deaths of their friends is there fault and not Chara's as Frisk chose to do the Genocide Route which corrupted Chara and now Chara is the consequence that Frisk had to face and deal with for the rest of their life. Also good animation overall and good action sequences throughout the animation.

What an interesting perspective of Undertale: two minds trying to fight for control and who ends in control is usually the one who determines the route of the story. Frisk: Just wanting to get to the surface without hurting anyone. Chara: Absolutely bent on destroying monsters no matter what, wouldn't be surprised Chara goes further than monsters once she reaches the surface (using SHE because the V.A. is female, forgive me). Seems no matter how many attempts Frisk makes trying to stop Chara in her tracks, Frisk almost always lose what implies this is the horror of reliving the moments they "call lights out" their friends and remembering the moments said friends were okay and alive as the flashbacks show (assuming the flashbacks are when Frisk actually wins). Great story telling and showing Kishinpain; hope I analyzed that correctly.

I like that Chara isn't exactly a villain here. That's sadly a lot rarer of an interpretation than I'd like it to be. Who the villain is depends on the situation. If the Player doesn't exist, is unknown to Frisk and Chara, or is straight up Frisk, then Frisk is the villain of Genocide. If the Player is included or mentioned by name, then they're the villain. What is Chara? Well, she's karma.

Quite ironic that Karma is the type of damage Sans does, and Chara kind of represents it. Most animations is like "Chara vs. Sans", when they are like on the same side, trying to show Frisk or the Player the consequences of their actions. Sans by hurting Frisk as more as him can, and Chara by showing to Frisk that he cannot do all this and just go back when he wants either of regret or boredom, he has only two choices: Keep going or face the consequences. No one can do something bad and just get through it without punishiment. This is what Chara represents: The fact that Frisk can't just go back like nothing happened. Not anymore.

after the first genocide, chara is permanently revived, and in the game she has become the god of undertale. frisk just gets to play over and over again, in a loop where he\she never grows. but chara after the first genocide remains, and grows.

The way Chara is perceived in parts of the fandom was always fascinating to me. Taking the clues from the game, Chara was very clearly meant to be demonic. They (was never canon that they were male or female) refer to the player as a "partner" and there are hints that they were not exactly an innocent child even before that ("Chara wasn't the greatest person" and all that). And Frisk was not the one who put everything out of balance. We as players were. The fact that we onlh learn their name in a pacifist route and that Asriel tell us to let them "be happy" and live their lives imply that "Frisk" is the version of the character that save the monsters by being a true pacifist But what I find the most interesting is the idea that the player is a "monster" or the true evil of the story. The game flat out tale us that we are doing a genocide route because we can. Not out of any desire to cause harm. And indeed, we unleashed a demon at the end of the genocide route, are complicit in the destruction of a world, not by any real desire to cause harm. We just have the power to do something, than we did That, the notion that we can cause harm to others or to the world around us not out of an active desire to do so, but just because we have the means and power to do so, poses far more interesting moral questions than if we play the bad ending of a video game we are good or bad people. We can cause harm to other regardless of how we perceive ourselves

Chara is often seen bad or really innocent without responsabilites. And to me, the truth is between the two. Chara is NOT responsible for the Genocide run, the player is (like you said). "Greetings. I am Chara. Thank you. Your power awakened me from death. My "human soul"... My "determination"... They were not mine, but YOURS. At first, I was so confused. Our plan had failed, hadn't it? Why was I brought back to life?... You. With your guidance. I realized the purpose of my reincarnation. Power. Together, we eradicated the enemy and became strong. HP. ATK. DEF. GOLD. EXP. LV. Every time a number increases, that feeling... That's me. "Chara." Now. Now we have reached the absolute. There is nothing left for us here.Let us erase this pointless world, and move on to the next." That is what Chara said to us, the first dialogue. Yes, at this point they are evil. Because the player (aka us) guided them. They didn't know the sense of their reincarnation and WE guided them. We twisted them, maked them evil. That is the case, at the end of the genocide run, they are far from good. "Chara wasn't the greatest person" ==> That can have multiple senses. First of all, yes Chara was far from perfect. They were a kid, a kid who hated humanity (Can we blame them? They jumped for a reason, same for the other kids. Moreover they learned that humanity kept the monsters, those monsters who were so nice to them, underground. Understandable) and just that make them not as perfect as Asriel thought. But that doesn't mean they were not a good kid. With flaws, like all human. And that is why, even if they don't appear a lot directly (even if they are really important, because the Narrator Chara theory is really plausible, and would explain a lot of things) they are well written. Remember, Asriel ideolised Chara. So yeah, to me Chara (at least Neutral and Pacifist) are not meant to be demonic. Geno!Chara in the other end... I could write a whole essay and all, but you know I think I summed up what I think really well. Chara is not bad in general (In the Geno run definitely is because we twisted them, but not as bad as we are tho). They are a good kid. By any mean the best person ever, not with the best attention. But if we believe in the Narra!Chara theory (which is plausible), we can say that they loved the Dreemurs really much. They were their family. And to me it would not make sense if all of sudden one of the most important character of Undertale was just that one-sided innocent/psycho. All the important characters are neither evil nor purely good. Just people trying to live the best they can. That is why I love Undertale so much. It is a really brilliant game for its writting and it makes people think about their choices. Sometimes they thinks they can avoid consequences... But that is not the case.

It does interesting towards the end, Chara looks annoyed or frustrated. It’s likely not because Frisk has a chance against uh her? But because they are refusing to acknowledge that this is their fault and seem to just want to blame Chara again and again. So Chara, as many guess, plays the part everyone wishes from her, and just shows she is not a villain you can win against. Nice work on your animation! I think showing more of the fact there will be more ‘fighting’ in would attract more folk. But I enjoyed it, me and my obsessive nature on Chara as a... character (Dangit I didn’t even mean that!).

Amazing video! Shoutout to everyone involved. You guys fricking NAILED IT! Ah this made me realize. There is not a lot of Frisk VS Chara fights done in this fandom. Which I feel is a massive waste on our part. I’m surprised people don't do some sort of Ichigo vs Hollow Ichigo way. Or Naruto vs 9-Tails moment that they could take inspiration from. I also great idea of tying that into Deltrune with the whole “Let's move on to the next world.” Also, I know I'm late but I already see a couple of Chara & Frisk genocide depts. Let me just say this. To me...it’s both their Fault! After all Frisk probably did start it but Chara kept going along with it, didn't stop Frisk and even assisted. To me, it was a TEAM effort. They are Partners/best friends as Chara once said us. So there. That is my view/stance.

A mio dire ci sono tanti dettagli bellissimi che rendono molto nella storia: -Post Genocide + molte run in pacifist si assume, poiché, la porta per comunicare con Gaster appare molto raramente in una run. -Chara inizia il monologo dove finisce la Genocide (ovviamente). -Gaster non muore poiché non si incenerisce, quindi si è spostato dimensionalmente. -Chara non è tanto una nemesi quanto più una conseguenza,fa rivivere a Frisk i momenti Genocide per fargli vedere che non era in controllo, avvisandolo subdolamente del Player che lo controlla(Teoria Personale). 10/10 perfettamente strutturata come inizio di una grande storia.
