Soon you didn't see hope for yourself living on the surface since it would be hard to live with flowers on their head and just wanted the monsters to live happily so they offered their own soul for the monsters to live on the surface without them oh yeah and i almost forgot! Sans is the second monster you would meet that would actually respect them and care for them....so he visits your grave every other day talking to you

FlowerFell, One of the saddest alternate universes. OOF I LOVE FLOWERFELL!! So basically the idea is that you, frisk, fell into the underground and every time you die you for some reason gain a flower somewhere on your body. Mainly face and legs and hands. The AU is based off of underfell so everyone is mean and stuff. Including sans who actually kills you a loooooot. But he ends up guiding you through the underground and protects you aand eventually will give his own life for you. He battles for you and the more you become blind the more he cries for you.. Eventually sans falls madly in love with you and you two date. He calls you "sweetheart" etc. (SHIP EEK) the point is for sans to try and get you to the surface because when you do, all your flowers dissapear. In.. Almost every case you die right before the barrier OR sans gives his life to save yours. ;3; its so sad
