I think the ATC calls were great, although the part where they had an engine malfunction it should have said, “ATC, were are declaring a PAN PAN PAN, we are getting vibrations from engine 3, (flight name&number).” And then when they knew the engine had a problem, you say, “MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY, engine no. 3 is inoperational, (flight name & number).” And then for the last part, (where they were asking to go back to the airport) they should have said, “Tower, requesting vectors for return to the airport.
