Thank you Father. My sisters, left the Catholic Church. They never come to my house, because I have pictures of Jesus, Mama Mary, pray the Rosary and got to Holy Mass. They used to isolate me, when they all get together. It was very hurting. I then stopped going to their house and sending them messages. I used to pray to the Lord to help me to continue love and forgive them. I never stopped praying for them, or even helping them. I have been confessing that I stopped talking to my family. I never knew that I was not sinning when I stopped going to my sisters, and sending them messages or calling them. Oh what a relief, that God understands our situation always.

Same with me. I am 58yrs .After my husband deserted us 24yrs back, my own family outcasted us.i.e. my siblings of 5 except one who passed away. Now I don't have anyone. My parents are no more. For the last 24 yrs. me and my children have been out-casted. No one visits us or checks on me or my kids. God bless them. I pray for them to change. I see them in relatives functions but they ignore me in front of everyone. The scar is so bad i can't stop crying whenever I am alone even after so many years. I only pray that at least my children should be treated well, felt loved by siblings. Pls pray that at least my children should not be orphaned. I feel the hurt and loneliness in their eyes and tone which kills me every day. Please keep us in your prayers 🙏

My in-laws are stringently abusive to my wife, and my mother has divorced my father after 25 years of marriage. Should I still associate with them? Should I bring my child around people who badmouth her parents? I want these relationships to be healed, and pray for the undoing of these knots to our Lady, but I have drawn a line in the sand so as not to take the abuse. Am I just supposed to continually be abused by people who aren’t sorry, who backbite and who look upon me and my wife with malice? I just thought I was supposed to pray for the mending of these relationships and trust in the Lord, and move forward when the time is right. This makes it sound like I’m supposed to continually set myself up for degradation and humiliation. What say you?
