Imax is not entirely about the screen, it’s about the imax cameras and their potential to shoot 18k resolution per frame and to project that film to screen theirs only imax screens. And imax doesn’t allow other screens to project their original aspect ratio, so the answer ,Imax is unbeatable until a new camera system bigger than it gets invented🔥

I have experienced both. I still prefer IMAX. Screen X is just a gimmick. The side screens doesn’t have any clarity. It’s good for one time experience. But I feel imax is more immersive.

IMAX is better . And in fact even better is IMAX 70mm . Unfortunately there are no IMAX 70 mm screens in india at the moment There are only 30 IMAX 70 mm screens in the world
