1:19:25 Goodwill is an asset so why are we subtracting it from Tier 1 Equity? Or is it like we are reducing the equity which increased for acquiring that goodwill?

Goodwill is an Intangible Asset

Because Basel 3 asked to subtract it when calculating Tier 1 capital ( Goodwill can't absorb the losses)
