I prayed the Divine Mercy chaplet over my dying father. Within 10 minutes he died in peace! I felt an overwhelming joy, as well as the hospice nurse who was there! She said that it was the most joyful death she had ever seen! 3 years later I was called to literally leave everything I owned in Florida, and travel to Pennsylvania where my sister lived. I felt an urgency. About 6 months after getting there, she was diagnosed with leukemia. On her death bed in the hospital, I anointed her head, feet and hands, and prayed the chaplet over her. She died in peace a few hours later.

@Nathan I owe my life to the Heavenly Father and his Saints! You just don’t know! I survived an abortion back in the sixties! It damaged my kidneys destroyed my thyroid! Both over the years almost took my life four times! Twice I had died and twice almost was going down! Thank goodness I was obviously brought back twice that last two times I asked God and all his Saint to save me and they did! Gave me signs of roses and water! It took me quite a few years to figure it out and after years of reading I found out a Saint called Therese was called the little flower! The water I’m still try to figure out! If it wasn’t for Saint Falstina I think I would have lost my mind for what I was going through at that one particular time! So no it’s not garbage! I’m so sorry that you would have vomit trickling down your cheeks! Vomit burns! Water cools!

2018 was a very challenging year. As a convert (from the Baptist faith), I didn't understand what was occurring. A parish priest described this period of extreme suffering as "sanctification." At the time, I was reading St. Faustina's diary, which was very helpful. He recommended using her diary as a de facto "spiritual director."

Fr. Mark said St. Faustina never spoke ill of anyone. She saw goodness in everyone. Someone testified that she never saw her lose her patience when they were together for 3 yrs. She was always obedient to God through her superiors. She predicted the exact date of her death and many more......She was/is truly a saint, mystic, prophet and Apostle of Divine Mercy! St. Faustina, pray for us.

@@juventutem In one of his videos, Fr. Mark says he's been to only one Latin Mass in his whole life. I think Fr. Mark prefers Latin Mass because IT's more reverent outside but I think also that his superior ordered him to celebrate only Novus Ordo. We know that priests took 3 vows and the most important vow is OBEDIENCE so he set aside his personal preference for the sake of obedience. The Church and the saints have taught that obedience to Church through his superior/s is obedience to God. The voice or order of his superior is the voice and order of God. If Fr. Mark's superior ordered him to celebrate only Novus Ordo, it means God only wants him to celebrate the New Mass and not the TLM. Obedience is the most important virtue. "Let everyone be subject to the Authorities, for there is no Authority that does not come from God and the offices have been established by God. Whoever, therefore, resists Authority goes against a decree of God, and those who resist deserve to be condemned." - Roman 13:1-2

@@marietav7342 Thank your thoughtful and insightful reply. Obedience is key for a religious priest. Faith is a greater virtue than obedience: "We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29). In this crisis the Church is presently going through, obedience is being misused to undermine the Faith.

@@juventutem Yes but God gave the Authority and the keys of heaven to His Church/Church Authorities ALONE not to anyone else. It means God does not want us to obey Him directly but through His Church or representatives. One True Faith said, "We must serve God the way He wants not the way we want." He is correct! It's God's will that we must obey Him through His Church and representatives, there's no other way. In this very confusing times, the more we must trust the Word of Our Lord that He will be with His Church until the end of the world. (Matthew 28:20) Let us not fix our eyes on the faults of the Church leaders but on our Lord who still works through His representatives, esp the Pope, despite their weaknesses and failures. TRUST GOD MORE IN THIS TRYING TIMES! I TRUST OUR LORD! IF WE HAVE TRUST IN HIM AMID THIS CONFUSING TIMES, HE WILL NOT ALLOW US TO BE DECEIVED. God wants us to have trust in Him.

I have absolutely loved learning about St. Faustina (through her biography and Diary, my first real spiritual reading) since you told us you were having a retreat back in August. I was really wishing I could have been there, so this is the best! (I even prayed you would share this with us.) The Divine Mercy has always been one of favourite prayers, but now St. Faustina is one of my favourite saints. Although she went through terrible suffering (dark nights of the soul), like the Divine Mercy, her life gives us so much hope in God’s great love for us. When I read how she greeted her mother with the customary “Praised be Jesus Christ” I immediately thought of you, our own inconspicuous saint in the making-I’m sure of it. @@terriomalley181 Just got home from the film, "Love and Mercy." Wonderful movie, with great actors and actresses. First hand, close eye witnesses interviewed. With the actors having an accent, made it seem more real, like St. Sr.. Faustina was really in the movie. This is the 3rd film version of Divine Mercy that I have seen. Fr. Chris from The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge Massachusetts was the commentator and several other priests interviewed as well. We all need to learn more about the Divine Mercy Message because we are in those times when Jesus is preparing the people, the Church, for His 2nd coming. Why was it just shown once in a secular theater, ? I don't know. I feel very fortunate that I was able to see it and that my sister invited me. Several of my fellow parishioners were there and it was quite a good film. The message and Jesus Divine Image of His Precious Heart was so moving. Everyone at the end of the movie just kind of sat there for a time. I think because of the actual emotional parts of the film. Go see it. The Church is infallible as promised by Jesus. Matthew 16-18. DON'T MAKE JESUS AND THE BIBLE A LIAR!!! The Church uses the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for exorcism and the priests/exorcists found out that this Chaplet is effective on driving the evil spirits out from a possessed person. Aside from this, I know testimonies from my own personal experiences and from others who were set free from sins and vices using the prayer of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and devotion to the Divine Mercy. FRUIT DOES NOT LIE. So who is the real fraud between you and St. Faustina? St. Faustina who never spoke ill of anyone, desired nothing in this life but God, always obedient to the will of God, always patient in bearing her suffering for the love of God, a true prophet whose prophecies came to pass or YOU who make Jesus and the Bible a liar? A sound-minded person will look always at the fruits to know the REAL TRUTH.

I recall reading that her search for a convent was hard. She walked from her home many miles, miles! She approached 11 convents. All rejected her because she had no education. They could not see what good she could do for them. But the last convent Mother let Faustina to enter the chapel. Mother asked Faustina to pray to Jesus if this is where Jesus wants her to be. Faustina prayed. Jesus said yes. Then, Mother Superior said Yes you may stay.

Our prayers have no effect on the life of a person who has already died.
