You guys are so lucky! Suzuki left North American market long ago! I am from Japan and have live in Canada for several years. My last visit to Japan I bought a Jimny for my uncle lol. He adores them but is retired so even can't afford the affordable Jimny. My uncle knows I own 2 Toyota 4x4s in Canada and go overlanding a lot, so after he put on a small lift better suspension and tires, he was eager to take me out to trails to show me how capable the little Jimny is offroad lol. It is a terribly bumpy ride, at first, but once he put in new suspension and a small lift, it was VERY fun. I would love to own one here in the mountains of western Canada! My uncle loves it and regularly sends me pics of him having his adventures in the Jimny lol. It has brought back youth to his spirit! Lol He will love this wonderful video lol. Great upload! Thanks!

Wow, so many nice ideas to personalise this nice car. Thanks for sharing and doing it in english so we can understand it (Here from europe) I hope you don't suffer the green bashing we have here in Europe. The jimny is popular as well but expensive due to additional environmental tax. Also due to that we can only buy it as a 2 seater so it is sold as a commercial truck. Enjoy it am make nice jimnys

How would you consider the Jimny for daily duties? Including highway cruising since my Father commutes via NLEX. Worried if its too slow, I genuinely love it for its simplicity and how it punches above its weight class for off-roading, but I don't want it to be only used for that purpose, or is it better to be a backup car due to it being slow?

Ito na ang ugly truth ng Jimny. Hindi sya pleasant i-drive pero fun! But you dont want an everyday dose of unpleasant fun so I wouldnt recommend it as a daily. Cute yung jimny pero as a commuter, it doesnt tick any of the boxes for me. Kahit fuel consumption, talo. Pero the way i see it, if you can see through all its downsides, its a car that you can keep forever and be forever reliable. Cute din forever.

It’s not slow if you keep it as light as possible, my jimny uses 6L/100km. Just get a better suspension and you’ll be fine.

If you want to see a car, that will do everything that the Jimny will do, only better, then buy anything else? Otherwise, buy it, enjoy it, put up with the shortcomings, or have it as a fun weekend, Car 🤷🏻

Really Best ideas. In Dubai, I saw a Jimny that looked like a Mercedes G class. Small Gelandewagen was very luxurious and attractive. I have not seen this type. I loved this type. If anyone is interested, look it up on KZbin. surely you will like it too.

Your dealer is probably correct with the shortage problem because as far as I heard, it's the same case for other dealerships as well. Your best bet might be the 2nd hand market
