Froebel (aka German or Nordic) Paper Stars

Every year I try to make a couple more decorations to hang on the tree. This year I decided to make some Froebel paper stars.
Froebel stars also known as German/Nordic/Danish or Moravian stars are a 3 dimensional star made from 4 strips of paper. To make them you'll need some strips of coloured or double-sided patterned paper measuring 1.5 cm by 45 cm.
