Such a great stretch!!! I am determined to get my splits especially my middle splits and this was very helpful. I just did this and could feel my hips opening up to get lower in frog pose. Will be adding this to my stretching routine. Thanks Addy!

Exactly. I've become quite flexible while stretching for ballet class, but I've never got the middle splits. Now that I started Muay Thai, and I'm the most flexible person in class, EXCEPT FOR the middle splits (there's a woman who can do them), I got ambitious to finally achieve my middle splits😂

Solar Wind At the beginning she goes side to side in a standing position. Also try it while keeping the torso upright (vertical) to the floor for leg strength development.

I notice that the more comfortable I have become in the frog pose and middle split the more intense my back tension has become. I am guessing there is nothing I can do about the anatomical unease as I roll through middle split. Many thanks for the rounding the back tip. will incorporate.

Make sure that you are also stretching your hip flexors/quads (the front of your hip/thigh). Tight hip flexors are a major cause of back pain. Middle split and frog pose stretch the inner thigh and hip rotators.

Great flow! Just wanted to point out that it looks like you're hyperextending your elbows when doing the cat/cow ( 4:15 ) Not sure if you were aware. Just bringing it to your attention in case you want to be mindful about that. Namaste.

Start slow & don't rush to her flexibility. Do them daily or weekly for best results .
