Day 9 - I Designed an Island in 30 Days without any Items

A great way to make a forestcore island look natural (besides loads of trees) is using the dark dirt path! If you place weeds on the dark dirt path it looks a bit like herbs growing on and sugarcane works great on it too! Hope this helps with decorating

Here are some builds you could do! (I’m not sure if all of these are forest core but I hope!) 1. A forest with a nice path! 🌲 2. A cute pond 💧 3. A little hiking path with like picnic’s and more around! ⛰ 4. A fishing area (with like fishing rods and random fish around 🎣 5. A farm (for all your crops to cook!) 🥕 I hope you can use these! hot tip: items that appear on the island naturally, such as mushrooms and star fragments, don't count as scattered items that give minus points for the island rating when dropped! and there can be 15 of other dropped items before it counts as messy. my island has a ton of dropped natural items and i still have five stars

Raven, you should have the two different color dirt paths alternating in your farm area so you still have rows without dead space. Hope that makes sense!

For the mums you should be keeping the yellow hybrid from the breeding and those will give you purple which will give you green mums, also using white from seed will give you purple to for the green mums Edit: just a tip for your next path, if you make the center piece first you can use that as a base for all the rest of the path

This may sound weird but I think you could probably use the fossil poop as little muddy rocks and line them down a forested path to make it look like a trail. Similar to how we'd use log stakes. Also, you could make a little mining area with some axes and dropped stone, iron, and clay. A little wood cutting station would be super cute next to the log cabins too. I'd also recommend another big lake to help takeaway some of the need to decorate. Love this series!!!

Might be handy when you’re hurting for bells^^ Also I feel like you could have a majority of cedar trees and then a couple hardwood trees in the mix for visual interest. Hello! A lot of people said you can place items on top of bug cages and aquariums, which is a great idea. I believe you can also place them on tree stumps! It’d look really good with the forest theme!

Here's a tip to decorate! when you catch crickets and place them, their box is a little wooden cage! I have them all over my forest core island and I think they would be so cute when they chirp it also gives a little forest affect to the island!

you could do a little cedar tree farm build on your island. just put down a few rows of dirt path with fencing inbetween and then small cedar trees with saplings inbetween. you can even put a wooden shovel there since it doenst have a leaf icon
