Slime tips to make playing with slime easier: 1. Spray a bit of activator on your hands before you start. Throughout the process you can keep doing this a couple times to make the slime not stick to your hands so much. 2. Lay your hands in ice water before you start playing. The temperature of a surface makes a big difference in if the slime will stick so playing with warm hands will be a little stickier. 3. Usually if you keep mixing the slime and playing with it even without activator it becomes a little less sticky, so yes you can spray activator now and then but also trust the process and keep mixing before spraying too much. This way you'll prevent overactivating the slime. 4. Often when people haven't played with slime before it sticks more to their hands a lot. What helps is playing with slime regularly and 'practicing' with it. 5. If you want the slime to get off your hands you need to move your hand away quickly and basically rip the slime off. Stick your slime to the table with your hand on it and then rip away quickly. 6. Often when you mix two different slimes or slime with extra ingrediënts it'll become very sticky for a bit. Just keep mixing and maybe spray a little activator. Sincerely, me from a few years ago when I was going through my slime phase. Good luck!

Tip for clear slimes: handle it “fast” if that makes sense! Like don’t let your fingers sink into make sure you touch it and quickly take your fingers off of it! This is because clear slimes are made sticky, and there’s no way to make them completely unsticky, otherwise they’d just be putty! Hope this helps ❤❤❤ Edit: spelling mistake lol

Raven, Unfortunately a lot of the fun ASMR slimes are more advanced clear slimes and no one tells you that a beginner will have a hard time getting the same effect if they purchase the slime. Starting out with clay and cloud base slimes is best because they are less sticky overall and are also stable longer without having to reactivate. There are lots of different hybrids of these beginner slimes with lots of scents but you won’t see a lot of add ins because they require a stickier base to keep the add ins from falling out of the slime. Once you practice more with handling the beginner slimes you can try new and different types, just remember clear base/add ins will always be harder to play with no matter your skill level. Slime is a lot of fun but just like anything in life it’s easier to learn with more basic versions then advanced versions. Plus even the most advanced slimers have days they just want to play with a good butter or cloud cream. Just fyi Dope Slimes have certain slimes available in nation wide stores and all of these slimes are beginner friendly. This is because more advanced slimes literally don’t have a long enough shelf life to be sold in stores. So if you find their slimes on a store shelf you should be good to go. I know they might not have as large of a social media following but that is because they spend more time on the slime. Good luck!

The reason the slimes were sticking to you especially the clear based ones is because they may of melted in transit because you live in a hot country and slime tends to stick to warm hands! I would definitely recommend maybe buying some borax powder off Amazon and making your own activator so you have extra on hand!💜 also if you go to purchase more slime I would go for more beginner friendly slimes such as more clay heavy slimes as they are less likely to melt easily! this is to Raven: You were struggling with the gummy shark and the 1st one because they are mainly made of glue and when it touches your hand because your hands are hotter then the table it makes the slime more sticky! To avoid this you need to move faster when playing with it and be constantly needing it. The reason why you found the bowling one easer was because it’s mainly made of clay which doesn’t get very sticky to the touch of your hands! Hope this helped 💚💚

hey froggy! i love peachybbies and i have 16 of their slimes. send help. clear is my favorite slime texture but its really hard to play with. i would suggest getting "beginner friendly slimes" peachybbies gives a description of each slime they have on their shop and some of their slimes say that they're beginner friendly which i think would be great for you. slime textures i would suggest are cloud dough, icee, and memory butter. if you bought other slime textures, i would suggest playing with it quick, dont let too much of your hand touch the slime. just kind of poke it until it gets less sticky. i promiss (forgive my misspelling haha) the texture will get better if you play with it more. also remember that its summer which will make your slime a lot less sticky. some things that help are if you're not playing with it, put it in the container and put the lid on, and set it in the fridge, when you want to play with it, just take it out and play with it! when you're done, just plop it back in the fridge. i just wanted to say that i love you and your videos so much. you bring me joy and you make me laugh. thanks for everything

Slime Tips: 1. Clear slime will become kinda milky looking as you play with it because of the air bubbles, if you put it back in the container and let it rest for a few days the bubbles will rise to the top and make it clear again 2. Get your hands as cold as you can manage ahead of time with cold water or an ice pack to try to keep the slime from melting so much while you play with it, you could also try putting an ice pack on your table ahead of time to cool the surface 3. Try to keep your slimes from getting too hot if possible while you store them, keep away from hot appliances or heaters or electronics and maybe store them close to air conditioner, but maybe don't put in fridge idk if that would mess them up or not I've never tried 4. Spray some activator on your hands and table prior to handling to prevent the slimes from sticking so much to surfaces 5. When the slimes are still sticky don't spread your fingers out too much you want less surface area in contact with the slime, it's better to keep your fingers together while you knead them

There’s 100% technique involved when playing with slime. That’s why there is beginner textures and advanced ones. Many times I would play with slimes and they would be perfectly fine, but then other ppl would play with them and they would stick to them like crazy and get all gooey like urs. Clear slime bases I believe are more advanced textures.

Raven, this isn't something you're doing wrong, but if it is really warm, then sometimes slimes will melt and will become really sticky, even if you put lots of activator in it. Maybe try washing your hands with cold water before the next video?

Raven, you are basically the best beginner I have ever seen 😅. You went straight into the slimes with confidence even though you knew they were sticky and just kept spraying activator! I know it sounds dumb, but that was perfect. You probably would have had no issues if you had LOTS more activator to help you. Those 2 tiny containers will do nothing to reactivate that amount of slime. Anyways for now here are some tips and notes: 1. Clear slime turns white bc after you play with it for a while air bubbles get into it 2. They might have been sticking to your hands bc they were warm or obviously bc it was sticky 3. The thing you were talking about where you stretch it and swirl it is called a slime swirl 4. Your clear slimes weren’t making any asmr, crackles, or pops bc you haven’t stretched it enough to make bubbles TO pop

Hey Raven!! I have a couple slime tips for you!! 1. I've noticed when my hands are warmer/sweaty the slime becomes more sticky as I play with it. (Try running your hands under cold water before you play!) 2. I know you live in FL so its probably pretty toasty outside; the heat makes slime melt :( so try storing them in cooler locations! 3. If you run out of activator/need a large amount, mix borax and water then add a spoonful at a time!! I hope this helped, I love your content, thank you for keepin it real 💚

The scoopable rating shorts are so soothing! The small beads ones have the most amazing sounds when they pull for a scoop! I also watch them on instagram so I'm sure my family that gets suggestions for that are like who the heck is scooping something that "almost broke their wrist 😵" 😅 Generally asmr bothers my neurodivergent ears for some reason, but I like when they scoop and have music behind it. the only time I made slime was when I was like 10 and it was a fail... I think it might stick a lot on your hands because they might be very warm which makes it melt maybe?? or because they have been in high degrees while being shipped to your house idk!! and because it needs to be activated again a few sprays wont help as much as like a tea spoon of activator (which you can use contact lens solution for), but overall i think if you buy slime, the least sticky ones would probably be the clay slimes or slimes with fake snow ( i think cosmic bowling has clay and snow, it just looks like that) one more thing im sorry for this long comment!!! ( i had a slime phase lol) but clear slimes turn white because air bubbles comes in the slime when you play with them but it clears out after😀😀

all clear slimes will go cloudy after playing with it because when you play with it, air gets in it and makes bubbles! if you leave it for a few days (sometimes more or less) it’ll turn back clear again!

I’ve bought pechybbies twice and I’ve had good experiences. But I think you need to handle the slime faster and think of it as if it was hot and you can’t touch it for a long time. Also, since it is really hot in Florida (especially in the summer) you might want to put it in the fridge for a few hours to cool it off.But if you don’t open it for a while (like a week or more) it should have time to cool off in your house. And also put the activator in the fridge and spray it everywhere (the table,your hands, and the slime) and try not to play with it on the table that much.

That activator wasn’t good at all but peachybbies has Way better activator and they have a beginner slime bundle and clear slimes are stickier if they’re left out in the heat but cloud dough and clay slime are much better and not as sticky

Here is some tips 1: spray activator on your hands before you start playing with it, it makes the slime not stick to your hands that much and makes the slime less sticky 2: play with the slime before spraying activator on it, it makes the slime get less over activated if you wanna play with the slime multiple times 3: if you want to start playing with slime more then you should open and play with the slime for a bit a few times a week so it makes the slime less sticky when you want to play with it other times I didn’t really have a lot of tips but I still hope these helped ❤ love you froggy!! 🐸🩷

I remember my sister and her friend playing with slime they also made some but that was a LONG time ago I don’t remember exactly what age I was been but the oldest I could’ve been is like six so I don’t remember much I’m not a slime expert but I do remember some tips my sister taught me when I was in my slime phase if you want to get the slime off your hands take the slime and and put it on your hand then remove it quickly you can do the same for the table but instead of your hand do the table most slimes are just naturally sticky ive seen some of the comments saying that slime gets really sticky with warm temperatures so you may wanna get your hands cold somehow before playing with it also with you living in Florida the slime may have melted and that may be part of the reason it was sticky I have no tips for how to use activator I didn’t know it existed until I watched this video so yeah that’s all I got for ya hope it helps

Hi Raven, I just wanna let you know if you’ve seen peachy babies prices for example one of their kids can go for $20 now but they used to go for only $16 because they’re getting bought from so much and they’re the only one really widely known especially because the Kardashians bought their slime. They didn’t pay them to whatever they want without others realizing for handmade slime from a small business. This is really expensive just searching up some shorts you’ll find other slime shops like OG, for example, prices reasonably in that well-known so they can’t just raise the price to whatever they want just cause they’re the most popular and no one knows about any others
