I watch a lot of garage sale hunting videos and I wanted to say that I appreciate how respectful you are of other peoples belongings. I cringe every time I see many other you tubers manhandling the items. So thank you for the way you conduct yourself.

I agree, Tom. It's not just all about the find. I've always admired the respect given to the sellers as well as their belongings. I'm sure there's other interesting 'flippers' channels out there...but personality goes a long ways. The patience, kindness and respect given when listening to some of the old fellers that want to share their stories about what they're selling....THE thing that made me settle on this channel as my "go-to" for this type of thing. Politeness is NOT old-school...and he has that with total sincerity. ALWAYS enjoy Anthony's hunts. First class.

Without a doubt he is the most respectful you tuber with other people’s things even if he isn’t buying it. There’s nothing more annoying than watching someone rummage through things and toss things around like it’s trash! I know there’s a fine line but some of them are just plain ruthless! Not this man he’s always considerate and fair in his dealings, a pleasure to watch!

I have not really did yard sales in six years this month when my mom had passed. But this past weekend I hit our little flea market got a few good things. And passed a yard sale at the school and went back cause I had to take daughter to work. I probably would of got more if I was dropped off as they had tables full of stuff. But I got a box of stuff plus two plastic bags for 10.50. I took a chance and got 15 8 tracks for $1.50 some good country artists. But I love watching your videos it's so much fun.

I know you are much more experienced than me in knowing what sells for you, but I was shocked you didn't grab those Laser Discs for $4. I know it's a case of finding the right buyer, but I"ve seen that kind of media referenced on other channels, and there are certain people that look for it and will pay for it. I was also sure you'd grab that Charlie Brown book. Half the fun of watching your channel is trying to predict what you'll grab and what you'll pass on. I think I'm about 50/50 on guessing you, but the more I watch the more I get right. My biggest problem in guessing is trying to look at it from your POV of what will re-sell, vs. what just looks cool to me and what I'd by for me!

Nice finds on the reels. There may have been others in those baskets with more value. I am guessing those reels you bought were Shakespeare, Heddon, Plueger, South Bend or some small Penn's. All great reels from the 50;s but they are truly a dime a dozen and were mass produced. If you can find the big Saltwater Penn's with Bakelite handles then those command the higher dollar. Look for more baitcasting reels and spinning reels. Abu Garcia Ambassadeur, old Johnson's, Shimano of course, Daiwa and even some older Zebco's can command some money. Keep up the nice finds. As a 12 year seller, it's nice to see someone else actually find some good stuff.

Hi Anthony could you help me understand how a yard sale works, being a Brit we have nothing like this, how do you know where the yard sales are do you just ride round looking or is there a certain day in a certain area. Here in the UK we have "Carboot Sales" this is where you load you car with stuff you want to sell and go to an organised site along with 100's of other sellers normally on a Sunday morning, you pay to sell and sometimes pay to buy all proceeds go to a local charity, you normally have to get there early about 6am and it's all over by about 1pm.
