Frogs are an indicator species

A dim wee child of the seventies, waking early with ease and delight on the most holy of days, top bunk hopped down, repeatedly eagerly reverently scurrying down stairs, to plant in pole position before cathode ray altar's Saturnday morning cartoons, saw "One Froggy Evening," a tad too many times over those years.
Exposure to such a masterpiece at so young an age, with very much a silly-putty impressionable brain, ensured an indelible imprint would remain forever; hence this trifling fragment as representative of just how those old songs earwormed in repeat in my nascent noggin..
Not even a stay at a "Psychopathic Hospital" could cure the inbrained burn; much like the stay at one by intrepid entrepreneur of amphibian entertainment possibilities did not seem to improve his perceptual acuity regarding the inconsistent enthusiasm of his froggy entertainer foundling vis-a-vis proximity to other homo sapiens, despite the core data showing this time and time again; leaving him trudging along, conveying bittersweet resilience mixed with dark resignation vying for supremacy upon crumbling abstraction of countenance until the face of inescapable oblivion loomed too large to ignore, and a long forgotten bursting sweet release of willpower allows for abandonment and final escape from the monster's song.
Perhaps that entrepreneur from the future will have more success in bending the eternal demon frog to do his bidding.
Seems unlikely though.
That frog is a guild navigator 10,000 years hence.
