@@Traceyandben My daughter did not let our granddaughter any technology until she was 11, unless it was for school. She is still restricted now. She hasn’t suffered because of it, it’s not her go too thing to have to have. She is now allowed a tv for her 13th birthday for her bedroom. So no, you’re far from mean. Too many parents use technology as a babysitter because they are too lazy to do wonderful things like you guys do with your children. Xx

First off loved this ,and your just like me ,when I moved from London . Rather than let the children hang outside bored ,I got my children into badgers which is saint johns ambulance ,my son went air cadets for years then came home one day joined the army instead ,served in Iraq 🇮🇶 got his pin and veteran card other day ,my daughter did ballet 🩰,then became a teacher ,my oldest has done films been in eastenders ,Johnny depp . My point after this long waffle 🧇, I wish more was like 👍 us , get them involved in hobbies ,get them to read and encourage them to be better . Sadly to many now days just throw there children outside and don’t give a monkeys what they do . Martin and Sharon have raised 3 lovely children and they have lovely grandchildren too debs xx

Aw what a lovely family day. A good long adventure & home to a lovely roast dinner & hopefully tired out slumber in front of the telly. It reminds me of when I was little & my parents used to take me & my siblings out. They were just like you two, showing us things & telling us about nature & what to look out for. It's a real hidden gem of a place. Surprising how many people in the area don't know it exists. Looks very different with all the tree felling now though. Think its mainly flyfishing in the Summer months. Very serene to watch them drift in their little boats out in the middle, but I've no idea what type of fish they're attempting to catch..it must be stocked artificially being an man-made inland loch. You're vlogs have become a real highlight. Love to all.
