@@NoaLee I love Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels and think it's misunderstood like and matches with what you described Frogun as in a lot of ways, so based on what you've said this seems like something I might like too.

I'm glad to see a new critique of yours! I´ve never heard of Frogun before and your description makes it sound quite charming. As someone who has enough patience to keep playing games that seem frustrating, before you get all the mechanics and patterns, one of the bigger points of criticism is quite negligible for me. As always: I love how you are able to convey the ,,soul" of the game. :D

​@@NoaLee Sooo - I've just finished Frogun and I'm glad you recommended it. I really love the Frogun-Gameplay eventhough it screwed me more than enough during some trickier sequences. The controls felt pretty natural for me except for maybe the aim. It only got frustrating during the last 2 worlds though(so at a point where a rise in difficulty is to be expected). Sound, graphics and dialogue really oozed the Charme you described - eventhough my 3D-platforming nostalgia is limited to some licensed games on the PS2. I'll try to get 100% someday - hopefully without the need to grind coins for hats. :D

@@TimAquila Hell yeah! I'm glad you liked it Tim! Yeah, the controls are great but they take a lot of getting used to and that aim can be wonky for sure. Perhaps I'll also 100% it one day; I've beat the game three times now and I still haven't been able to bring myself to grind out those coins. lol BTW there's a standalone DLC coming out for Frogun this summer so keep an eye out! I'm super excited! Cheers mate! :D

I dropped the Golden Axe 3 review for the moment; I've still got my notes on that game so I'll definitely get to it at some point but it's deep on the back burner for now. As for the Sonic stuff... I've got something in the very early stages let's just say, but it's gonna be way different from what I've done in the past. Can't share any more than that right now; still a ways off but closer than a Golden Axe 3 review! :D
