Idk) but even then he A) Had two far superior villain songs and B) Straight up shot someone in a fit of rage, which is a Hell of a lot more than anything Magnifico did (seriously they squandered him HARD, like you have this powerful wizard drunk on dark magic and they didn't have him do ANYTHING to justify him being the villain when compared to other villains in the Disney pantheon)

I'm kind of surprised you didn't include his "Witchcraft! 😮" reaction xD In all seriousness, Disney's recent movies made me like Frollo simply for fulfilling his role of being a villain; doing things that, even as a kid, one could tell were wrong whether other characters pointed it out or not, and having an objectively good - if not the best - villain song. I love how Hellfire is in juxtaposition to Heaven's Light; the music, the lyrics (it's so clever that the part in Latin is the exact opposite of what Frollo is singing! It's as if, deep down, he knew what he was doing and felt judged, but refused to admit it), the voice acting, the animation (I believe Frollo was actually afraid of statues and avoided them, perhaps that's why we don't see any in his castle and the figures that do show up - even his subordinate, who interrupts the musical number - don't have faces?), everything is just.. chef's kiss✨ Too bad it couldn't be in this video TwT Also he does have some meme material; I can't get over someone's comment about treating school's assignments like Frollo in 0:11
