It has been a long journey on youtube since 2017, I did not grow and although I earned a few dollars that helped me a lot during the pandemic in 2020 I never really experienced growth. I learned a bit about SEO and although it also helped me a lot, it was not what I wanted. I discovered you and you helped me understand what it was like to create an audience, What was a recurring viewer and that it is not just about uploading videos and that's it, but about having a content strategy based on buckets of ideas. I've also noticed after watching a video on youtube and a subject or name pops into my head and when I go search for that subject or name after watching that video after typing the first letter the name or subject I was thinking immediately pops up. KZbin search didn't use to do that. I would have had to type in more of my search word. So the youtube robots know what I'm thinking because so many thousands of other people typed in that exact term after watching a video. It's not as complex or sophisticated as we give it credit for, but it will help creators know how to make content.

I've seen playlists get suggested but only in the music genre. How do you get playlists suggested or appear on the home page? Also is traffic from community tab for videos a bad idea?

Re video ideas, I like the idea of a tour video for inspiration but it doesn’t have to be kick ass! I really like seeing clever solutions for small spaces too or multifunction rooms ie needing to function as an office but don’t want it to look like that if a guest is staying there. We are also building an extension and I’m wondering about set up like power points and more integral features re camera set up etc, ideas for what to think about at that really early planning stage would be great too. I’m also thinking about ideas from atomic habits re removing friction for doing things I want to do and adding friction to stop me doing time wasting. I’ve been ill so streamlining the process of work and environ design is really interesting to me.

Where can I ask specific questions? I have over 500 videos and my channel is driving a lot of business to our location. Should I archive my old videos and develop something for people to pay to access these? If so, what is the best method? My thought would be to have a private login on my website that they pay to access. If I do this, should I embed or have links. Is it true if people watch an embedded video the analytics are different? If I decide to follow this route, should I remove advertising from these videos? I make about $160 per month from monetization but on average I make several thousand per month in business these videos generate. Where can I ask these specific questions?

there's no way Google is going to allow businesses to cannibalise their ad revenue in the long term via channels making KZbin videos. Maybe short term it will work but I wouldn't bank on it
