What stood out to me the most is this guy's energy and commitment! He really threw himself into learning adwords to start, and then applied that same focus to his other ventures. Kudos, man.

This just shows how broken the university system is. Selling false dreams at crazy prices. This guy killed it by doing his own learning and research. Bravo ^_^

I think the takeaway is to work hard to increase your income. More income, more money to invest. He went from $43,000 income to $290,000 the next year from his commissions. So maybe a commission based job would get us there quicker

True but more money means higher taxes. And those can be a huge hassle on your finances. Taxes are one thing but the amount of taxes is something else.
