@11:26 Two years ago I did a run as an engineer. I was actively on the lookout for cold packs to use to make smoke bombs. In the two months that character survived I came across just one single cold pack. Seems they still exists, but are just very rare.

Indie Stone have always been abrasive towards players who don't fully agree with every choice they make (there is a quite infamous rant that one of the devs published, berating a player that requested a refund), but I feel they've gotten a lot worse since the explosive popularity boost from the A41 multiplayer.

@@Pixelated-QuestI have never encountered any of this myself (that explosive rant did happen but was a few years ago though). The devs are under a lot of pressure and have even debated selling the game because of the large negative energy coming from the community. It is very important to keep in mind that this is a passion project with the most ambitious goals of any game I’ve ever heard of being developed by 16 people. The fact that they have created something so amazing by themselves is incredible especially since a large amount of the code for a previous update had been stolen when someone broke into one of the dev’s apartments. Again, I haven’t encountered the extreme moderation being mentioned here but even if that is the case the long wait for updates is the 1# problem that people talk about.

The overall reviews are positive, and the updates they’ve made over the years hardly raise any doubts about their long-term commitment to the project. Though I can understand if they feel it has become a strain on them. Personally, I don’t mind waiting for actual updates because, when they release a new version, it’s usually quite the improvement. In the meantime, there are plenty of mods to explore if someone feels bored while waiting for updates, I’d say.

Cold packs are in the game. I also never pick them up or do anything with them (I believe only engeneer traps use this item) its somewhat rare. Maybe you dont notice it, because you never do anything with it. It sort of is a filler item and you never use it. Unless you pick engeneer... But when is the last time you did that and accually picked this up and crafted a bomb. Well it doesnt happen that oftem😂😂 Also edit, Its for smokebombs... Do you ever use smoke bombs? Well I did once, never did it again. Smoke bombs are pretty useless😂😂
