Yeah, the deceptive thing about these 'insprational' stories that we have no idea of winners/losers ratio of people who did basically the same thing. If it's let's say 1/3000, that would make it look like gambling with only winners showing up for the interviews.

A lot of news have been going on about a rally after the election, urging investors to watch out for stocks that would be experiencing significant growth. Any idea which stocks to put on my watchlist? I am looking at Nvidia, XRP, but i cant wrap my head around choosing one. Roughly $150k in my portfolio are in tech/TSLA stocks, can I get an advice on any other stocks that I can acquire to diversify my reserve across multiple markets while creating a comprehensive portfolio allocation that balances my concerns of risk aversion and returns that meet yearly inflation.Ill be retiring soon.

I agree, but I’m cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. But the independent financial advisors i work with is Kris Lizette Dornbush. I've worked with her for many years and I'd gladly commend her exemplary service on a public post. I was skeptical about someone else handling my money, but I'm glad I did. The best decision I ever made. Not to brag, but I don't have to worry about financial issues anymore. Many people has given up on this year already! But i assure you if you invest now, you'll have something significant to start next year with.

It's the equivalent of betting your whole portfolio on 3 stocks, unless he is actually diversified within these "bets" which he probably is. Now the fact that he poured capital into digital monkeys simply confirms that he is a momentum chaser and why not. Maybe also the interview does a bad job at digging into the specifics and research processes of these investments and satisfied itself with the glamour of the whole thing. Very misleading and dangerous in my opinion. There is not one word about the actual value or prospects about these businesses he's betting on. Again momentum chasing is not illegal..

The idea to help TESLA sell more vehicles according to the referral program. Tesla should give unlimited or alternative benefits to the referring people. The referring people will get more motivated to tell others to buy Tesla vehicles. They should be able to get cash (at the lower, value rate compared to other benefits). If they cannot utilize the credit benefits that they get now or hit the limit $5000 per year, the motivation to tell others will be lower or gone. Actually, Tesla should give the benefit at progressive rate when someone can help you sell a lot. The more Tesla sells vehicles, the faster data for FSD will be collected.

OMG Larry, if you are going to go to the time to make a sit down interview on a podcast you MUST invest in sound equipment. Most of us are listening on ear devices, this is terrible. Can't bear to listen.

As an audio engineer, the problem is not the microphone, it's the placement and roomsound. Try speed it up to 1.5x or 1.75x speed, that will tighten a lot of the room-sound, getting more focus on the voices.

Dont worry, continuing to rely on ear devices, eventually you won't be able to hear. You'll really hate hearing aids.

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direct I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.

I’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance.

It's also easier to make 100% on $10,000, than $1 mil. It's easier to make 30% on $1 mil than $1 bil. Smaller market caps are more likely to be more volitle, but you'll move the price more with more money. Warren Buffett only makes 3% but trades in billions. He doesn't trade stocks, he trades companies. There's just not enough places to put a billion dollars that makes money.

Hey Larry, hey Farzad, I’m big fan of this channel. I’ve been watching for over five years now so this feedback comes from a place of love. The concept of Maverick mind is excellent but I’ve listened to the first 15 minutes of this interview and have not gotten anything practically useful from listening to this, unlike all your other contacts on this channel.

So sorry that this format is not of interest to you; I understand that it will not appeal to everyone, which is why the series is seperately branded; that allows you to avoid this while following the rest of the channel. In the Maverick Mind we are committed to providing people a deep background of the mavericks we interview. This is what interests me of the people I view as mavericks.
