I've just found this channel. It's extremely helpful for me, who is just starting my journey with learning dressmaking. The production quality is excellent, I can tell you are putting a lot of heart in every video and always doing your best to explain everything as simply and effectively as possible. Thank you so much for making these videos. Please keep them coming. Much love from Germany! 🇩🇪💝✨👗🎀✨

Merci beaucoup pour votre partage ❤ J aime la couture, mais il fallait apprendre un métier plus au goût de mon père 😅 Maintenant maman je penses apprendre, on ne finit jamais d apprendre ❤❤❤ Merci Thank you very much for sharing ❤ I like sewing, but I had to learn a profession more to my father’s liking 😅 Now mom I think I'm learning, we never finish learning ❤❤❤ Thank you
Hello! I love these kind of videos, since they're so much more comprehensible than reading books about sewing. But I was wondering, how easy is it to make a block pattern for your own body? I always struggle with commercial patterns, due to my non standard body type... I would love to have a dress form that actually works for myself.

Hello! Glad you loved the video! In practice, bodice blocks are usually crafted in a two-dimensional way. Take measurements of your body, such as bust and waist, and use these measurements to create your bodice block pattern. But drafting it manually can be laborious and time-consuming. So we're currently developing a service to automate this process, enabling users to skip the manual drafting while still needing to take measurements.
Please make more of these! Do you have an online classes for visual learners who like to drape (3D) instead of drafting?

Draping is one of the topics I’d like to cover someday, but I've found it a bit challenging to teach in an online class at the moment, so it’s still in the planning stage.
