On my Pine Valley Map I put 2 D&RG Class 48’s in the Smelter because you could supply a firewood depot with excess cordwood and wood burners make for quicker starting than a coal burner imo, especially since Coal’s a more expensive thing & you have to earn your way to it.

so some time when you are working at your sawmill .take a walk from the log drop off spot straight back through the lake and you will see passage ways through the rocks and mountains that are cool

My fav is the Ruby Basion in dirty and clean black versions. Lots of power, but it is coal.

For sure it is. I almost always get one for my first loco in the save. Probably the best tier 2 loco and a great choice
