From a TOILET bomb to a NUKE?! A-1H in War Thunder

The A-1H in War Thunder is a US Ground Attack Plane that excels at Close Air Support. And of course, it has the historical Toilet Bomb! :)
In this video I attempt to hit tanks with the A-1H Toilet bomb as well as go crazy with the Zuni Rockets! This plane is AMAZING and I'm glad it's in my lineup to make playing USA in War Thunder even more fun!

That last game was so close!! Our team had a nuke as well (The red trails you can see as I ripped your wing off) so I hadn't actually realised an enemy one was coming in until that Arado broke your tail and you appeared above the buildings! I was confused for a second when the nuke went off and we lost all our tickets as I thought I'd done the job, wish I'd got a pilot snipe now! 🤣

I freaking love close games, even if I lose. Last night I was playing a match on Cargo Port trying to spade my Ostwind II. I had my VK, Panther D, PzIV-70 and the Ost. Game looked like it would go our way but we were facing USSR/US, so they all jumped in their sky tanks and decimated us and then made a late push. I killed a couple planes but when there's 5 enemy planes up you instantly become target #1 in AAA. They took B, then A. The game ended as I was recapping A and they killed 2 of our last guys. Disappointing finish but gg.

I don't have this thing unlocked yet, so I don't know the max load you can put on it, but the 2000lb bombs and Zunis combination might just be the breaking point which moves it to 6.7 eventually. I definitely think they'll move it up at some point, not just because it's a premium, but because it's genuinely one of the best prop CAS planes in the game now.

Don't forget Odd, while you were gone Gaijin added the ability to jettison secondary weaponry both at the press of a keybind and automatically after they empty. Might come in clutch in a life-or-death situation.

I applaud Odd's CAS skills, I have been playing WT since 2018, on Xbox and have a grand total of 28 minutes in a plane, just can't stand playing planes with a controller, tanks are my main thing, so I live vicariously through his videos, cheers Odd!

@@jvlogs5575 I was thinking of trying a joystick from my old Microsoft Flight Simulator days, to be honest I have everything where I want it in the ground tree and figured why not try to give air a try, so research is needed I think, I appreciate your help regardless!:

@@albundy8139 I mean if a joystick works more power to ya! Always thought about getting one for Thunder. Planes especially in RB can be difficult at first but the more you do it the easier it’ll get. Feel your plane out learn how it maneuvers at certain speeds as they’re all different. Some are really easy to pull out of dives others will compress really bad and shove you into the dirt. I’d say the easiest to get in and have a relatively easy time is the spitfires and typhoon. The machine guns aren’t all to powerful but the 20mm Hispanos are amazing.

Idk if it's of any use for you, but a mate uses a HOTAS, keyboard/mouse or controller on Xbox X depending on what we're playing. Sometimes even a combo of HOTAS/Controller when playing Air Sim

AAaaayyyyy finally a new video :D! I have waited so long, but now it is here! At this occasion I can also finally propose to you a challenge-idea I had for some time now: Challenge: Basket-bomb: You have to accurately land a bomb inside of the turret basket of any open-top tanka (like the m10 / m18 / all the big german td's / etc.). In general, there is two ways for this: You could use big bombs for big funny, or you could use small bombs, that are harder to kill with, but if you actually maage to hit them into the turret its a big humiliation for that enemy XD. I would love to see you try that challenge! Keep up the good work, man, nice to have you back!

Yeah I absolutely love this thing. It's like the perfect plane for me. I already like the standard Skyraider especially the AD-4 for it's loadout capability (soon to be "buffed" as well with custom loadout), and this thing can carry even more stuff. My favorite loadout is the 40 Zunis, 52 mighty mouses iirc and either a 2000 pounds bomb or 6x500 pounds bombs on the middle pylon. Just a bit heavy from using that loadout but it really is just that good. Edit: Forgot to type it in. Welcome back Odd. Nice to see more content from you

Great video as usual. With regard to what I would like to see, I would love to see you play the israeli tank M-51 and it's spitfire with rockets. I am just an average player but love the israeli spitfire for CAS. It is a bit challenging playing the m-51 because of the bounce of the barrel, but it deletes most anything it hits due to it's powerful amo. Welcome back.
