These are so beautiful (and so are you 😍) I really want the locs but I don't want to spend 8 to 10 hours in a shop or pay almost $300 for them 🤦🏽‍♀️👎🏾🙅🏽‍♀️. How do you maintain them at night....just throw a bonnet on???

Great video! You're afro is lyfe!! I'm getting this style done for my vacay in a few weeks, my question is does the wavy hair get matted/tangled with the locs that requires alot of maintenance, I heard some people take out the wavy hair due to the high maintenance? Just trying to get some feedback, thanks for the video 😊

I know this is an old comment, but in case anyone is reading it more recently there’s advice in a video on the Boho Locs channel. In a nutshell, after you’ve installed the mermaid pieces you should spritz them with water, run some conditioner down the length and follow that with some gel. This prevents the wavy hair from matting and frizzing and keeps it looking glossy.
