Its a blessing for cool game concepts who aren't able to find a full publisher as well as a curse for the gaming community in case of lazy developers just want to grap a cheap coin. We have a bunch of real good games that where/are in EA though and If I had to choose between a Guild 3 EA or no Guild 3 at all, I would choose the EA all the way. Although usually really buggy, I love the series.

It makes sense and I like it but they really need to be capped at a certain dollar amount until the full release. There's no way they should be allowed to charge that much money for an alpha or beta stage game. Thankfully we have amazing people like gray to buy and showcase these terrible games before the rest of us get suckered into buying a terrible game.

@@vikinginfidel4293 I think there is a new dev team who have been working on revamping this entire mess of a game. I'm excited. But I agree, early access shouldn't be full price! There should be a cap amount, like EA games can only be bought under 16 dollars or less. And with what those gamers go through, they shouldn't have to pay full price when it turns out that the game takes two or more years of actually releasing, etc. There are some wonderful EA games but yeah, I think it's becoming way too common with dev's who want to make cheap cash for a sucky game they'll never finish.

@@WhiffleWaffles that's been my biggest complaint for years now. I'm ok with paying $14 or so for a massive DLC that includes a lot of cool weapons, gear, and maps. But to pay a full $60 for a game then have to continue paying to win the dang thing is ridiculous. Like a few of these big AAA devs and publishers are starting to implement subscriptions like Fallout 76. A $60 game turns into $120+ really quick. I really feel bad for those parents who thought their kid was only going to spend a few dollars then end up blowing $1000+

A lot of reviews mentioned that the dev team is incredibly active and releasing updates a lot, but I'd love to see it after a full release. I love games like this and there aren't enough. I hope it improves and releases fresh and ready for players soon.

Probably has been mentioned in comments. But buildings usually have three levels, or specialize at the second level then move to the third. So you don't have to build an upgraded version, you can just upgrade your current.

It's pre alpha i'd say ....but ppl buy every crap it seems . For peeps who are interested in a game like guild i'd like to suggest having a look at Saelig . It's EA too but polished and working flawlessly , developed by one guy who communicates with the community and it costs 11€ . I bought it 2 days ago and already have played it for 12 hours . Very nice game .

This game has a lot of potential, it depends on the developers. Some moments I get really angry after some bugs, or crashes (I almost asked for a refund when I couldn't get the Trade Routes working properly because of bugs). It's true that they released it too early, even for an Early Access, but if they do it properly they could use all the people reports and do a masterpiece. I believe too that they are searching for a real solid multiplayer game, mora than in the second one, and making a game with a lot of details like this one and making it work on multiplayer mode must be a very hard stuff. I hope they achieve it, because this came could be awesome when finished. PD: Btw, they fixed a lot of these bugs as you noticed, I say this to people who believe the game is still broken. I'm not defending the developers, just saying they are working when we all thought they was just a moneygrab and ruining the series.

I played a lot of guild 2, bout the only game of its kind that I liked. Dynasty mode was the sandbox, you should really do a series on it in that, like my summer car. I always go in as the thief, get in politics, and buy up all the land. It just became a goal for me to own every thing. Contrarily, I want more hobo sim.

The pronounced “h” in herb is a more modern thing. US English held onto the older pronunciations and terms while the UK shifted (US being basically a backwater at the time vs the highly cosmopolitan UK). Similar to the progressively “missing R” you find in a lot of accents within England proper.

Oh yea I loved the Guild games 1 and 2. Quite frankly, every one of them was a bug-fest on their release dates (and even after the patches) so I can imagine how the Guild 3 EA must be at the moment. But anyway, I hoped for a 3rd one for a loooong time now. So happy :)
