It's Russia. putin is afraid of his own shadow, not to mention the crowd of people who want to celebrate the New Year at the chimes (the clock on the Spasskaya Tower). For the second year now, the “president” has been shaking with fear that he might be stabbed to death on New Year’s Eve by “deeply loving and supportive citizens,” and a crowd of police officers with batons and barriers are working on Red Square. And yes, it's my country ☹
