OMG - that garden is stunning now. I remember it from March. They've done a lovely job of the garden. I'm really wedded to the dead hedge concept from this garden. Thanks for the update!

Well designed, good materials, great planting. I'm impressed, how did they manage such a high level of maintenance with the drought we've had ?!

They have a system of water butts all around the garden and they siphon the water out to the butts in the middle from the butts near the buildings. I imagine they've probably had to use taps and watering cans as well, in the middle of the drought, but having lots of water butts really does mean you can make the most of the water from the sky.
