My first instrument was Trumpet. All because my mom and dad listened to cool jazz. So, my inspiration when I was 4 years old was Miles Davis. I was a different little kid. I would put on Miles on my parent's console stereo and just sit there listening. Been doing that ever since.

Sheldon!!.......one of LA's true gems! 🙂🙏 I first met Sheldon many years ago on a gig he was playing and I was mixing.....(he was a bit miffed at me because i asked him to turn down 🤷‍♂)..... in years that followed I got to know him personally and learned that, he's was a really good dude!. He's one of those people that when you randomly run into them around town, after not seeing them in years, you get a really genuine good feeling from him 😊🙏. The Carriage House is a hidden gem with vibe for daaaaays!!. Despite all his challenges, it's great to see he's still a strong creative presence in the music community 😉👍 Thanks for featuring him 👍

@@Producelikeapro my old across the street neighbor. My son’s Godfather played bass in Soundgarden and any time they were on tour in LA, Ben and I would visit Sheldon. In fact, Sheldon sold Ben his favorite old Fender Bass and if the last Soundgarden album ever gets released, you’ll hear that bass.
