In MPC can you not record instruments over drums? You can't record the UK drum kit in the same bars as say Hybrid?

How do I assign my sequences to the pads? I could only get sequence 1 on pads 1-4 by accident.

Thanks for the good video! I don't have an mpc, but I'm thinking of getting one. I just have one question. Can I layer multiple sequences on top of each other in the song mode? Lets say I have three sequences (drums, bass, chord) when starting to build a song. I want to trigger sequences drums and the bass in the first step and then have all three sequences in the second step. Can layer sequences in song mode like in other DAWs or does the software require that I build each part into a separate sequence?

In your video it doesn't show your POINTER. For me "The Viewer" this makes your video complicated to understand just what you're talking about. Maybe most viewer's it's okay, but if you're concerned that any viewer can learn and understand your video/video's.. you should change how you teach (Especially If MPC Essentials Is New to the viewer) and add "The Pointer" as your video plays.

Rename your sequences to something logical to the section of the song that the sequence is built for. Do the same for tracks and programs and you won't go far wrong. I have been having a blast learning the MPC software for my Studio, it is just so freaking logical.

Yes when you see me export it the only thing you have to do is export it in separate tracks and it will put it in a folder where u can import it to any of you DAWs
