I also have been a therapist for 25 years and 7 years healing arts studies before going into practice. I’ve studied Taoism, Bhuddism, Shinto, Christianity, and finally Islamic spiritualism. Inayat Kahn was my first introduction to Islam. From there I studied from many Ustad or Skayke , teachers .. I’m now 50 , took Shahada 18 years ago online in Aus, and took Shahada again 1 year ago in Lombok. I now live in Indonesia to be amongst Muslims .. blessed to engage with Muslims

That being said as an adult one does have the choice to choose to follow what feels right for them whether it is continuing with the same religion they were born into or going off to a different path.

@@reyuyenu340 70 years does not sound correct my brother, that means he was in his late 80s when he became Muslim…that sounds far fetched when life expectancy was lower back then ….i would check up on that number if i was you…mind you when Salman Al Farsi first heard of the Prophet just before he became Muslim…he had climbed a tree to pick dates for his master…climbing trees in his late 80s does not sound right

I am a born Muslim alhamdulillah. My grandparents were born to buddhist parents who later embraced Islam. Because of them I am blessed to be a Muslim today. I will never be able to thank them enough in this life. Being a muslim is an honour. One of the last wishes of my grandfather was to include Mohammed in every son's name in our family and include Fatimah in every daughter's name. We have been following his instructions to this day and will continue to do so until qayamah, inshaAllah.

You must read this and shar* this withany people. Please read attentively till the end for great info. Let's start with this first. Isroelis are like olden times evil Mongolian invaders who devastated other countries just for quenching their blood thirsty minds and hearts. They got nothing in the end and after recovery from these onslaughts, muslims leaders and armies staunchly defended muslims lands, palestinian lands, greater Syria which included Palestine (no isroil then in those times as Jews were under muslim Khalifa or sultanate) and eventually mongolians paid heaven price and Islamic leadership and armies of muslims ended the savage Mongolian attacks and invasions. Otherwise, they would have devastated Russia and all of Europe. These people today in Europe and Russia must thank muslims and some enemies stop writing Islam as violent religion. Why don't you write in favour of Islam and Muslims which saved your ancestors, their women, children and properties from death and destruction? Why are many of these non muslims are unaware of these and other facts that support Islam and Muslims? Why, instead untruth and black propaganda of falsehood is carried out against Islam and Muslims? These people must also know that when Mongolian savage and nomadic armies tried to enter India forcefully, everytime, they were beaten back with enormous damage to their armies by Muslim Sultanate army in Delhi at that time. This was the only ruler in the world from the Sultanate and Muslim Sultan who carried out ferocious attack against deadly, ruthless mongol armies and leadership. He used to consult with Muslim Saint Salim Chishti and with his guidance, he attacked mongols without fear, where has his ministers had advised the Sultan not to go to war and instead make peace with mongols. But the fearless and powerful Delhi (India) Sultan rejected his advice and baged his army against Mongols and made them remember this. Even though, they attacked total six times on Delhi's Muslim Sultanate and everytime they were defeated utterly. You know, this is the only Ruler in the world who defeated Mongols six times and removed their danger of further attacks on Indian soil. Had these savage Mongolian armies succeeded those times, there would hv been millions of people killed in India and those who knows the truth, millions of Hindus and muslims remember this great Sultan for his courage and timely actions against invasions of Mongols. Otherwise Mongols would hv dealt a severe blow to India and Indians and the great monuments that millions of tourists visit today and India has great income from these great monuments. How many millions are having jobs because of tourism which is drawn because of muslim sultanates and their patronage to architecture and Islamic cultural developments. Hope you might want to know the name of the Indian Sultan whose army defeated army defeated savage mongolean armies six times? He was Alauddin Khilji. So we must know this truth and be thankful to muslims and Islam for giving great things to the society and the world civilisation. Thank you for reading this and don't be prevented by ani Islam and anti muslim falsehood and hatred. Try to spread this to all and don't stop if you hear bad comments.....

I started reading his PhD thesis in Psychology. This man is admirable and impressive. The dedication section of the thesis is quite heartwarming. Listening to him on youtube (Cambridge Muslim College channel), seeing his career trajectory was part of my inspiration to study for Master in Psychology program as well.

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion." Sahih Bukhari 1:6:301

In the intro, the brother reminded me of *"SALMAN AL FARISI."* While seeking for the truth, he went from *Zoroastrianism to Christianity,* and from Christianity, he waited in servitude of slavery in Madina to meet the new PROPHET as foretold in early scriptures. Salman finally met the prophet before the prophet muhammad (saw) went to Madina, and he reverted to ISLAM. May Allah make us steadfast in Islam! Amin

Quran makes sense. Nothing hypothetical, everything, natural and realistic. Quran limits your ways and means, rather makes your ways well directed. Yes no doubt we are born with many limitations, limit of sight ie we have visible range *VIBGYOR* limit, then we have audible range , 20hz to 20khz Why ??? Surely almighty Allah wants humans to follow a straight path, and live with limitations and restrictions. Human have no option but to follow the commandments of almighty God. One cannot change the almighty God but submit to the will of God

Dr Abdallah came to New Zealand and gave a talk about how to understand suffering from an Islamic perspective. It was an absolute game changer for me personally as the genocide in Gaza was troubling me a lot. His talk helped me make sense of the suffering and turn it into a point to increase my imaan. Alhamdulillah, he's a very educated and well spoken scholar and his perspective is very wise.
