Your hydroponic system looks good, however try to control the algae in your system. Use an algaecide, algae will eat up all your plants nutrients.

It's not the soil that the plants need,it's the nutrients found in the soil..So if you can give the plants the nutrients directly it's the same thing..Or almost.
