Thankyou for putting this into words in a very seemingly confusing time. It has given me a sense of confidence and yes, I intend to" rally close to the Heart of Jesus "

I asked for this book as a gift for my Consecration after Fr John Riccardo kept mentioning it on his podcast. So I actually have two copies of it now. Great interview and good to meet the person who actually wrote it!

I heard about the book from Fr John Ricardo. I have listened to some of Fr James' teachings. They are excellent.

Julian (sic) did not persecute Christians in his brief moment of glory (emperor from 3 November 361 to 26 June 363). He restored Athanasius to his throne, allowed a great rallying of bishops to the Creed of Nicaea (maybe they were scared into unity by the sight of a pagan philosopher on the imperial throne). He wrote a book against “the Galileans” and Cyril of Alexadria wrote a refutation of it 60 years after Julian’s death. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_(emperor).
