I have not been alone my whole life but I have felt that way for many years. Pure love is unconditional and I don’t know anyone in my life that has been that for me. Except my Mom and she passed 14 years ago. Yesterday would have been her 101 birthday. I miss her dearly. 💕🌈

I love this woman! Everything she said resonates deep within me. I really needed to hear this message of hope. I woke up so depressed this Christmas morning - no friends, no family. Alone and hopeless in the city. Its very cold where I am in Canada, and I've become practically agoraphobic. Scared of humans. Disconnected. But I know that feeling of being in nature. I also liked what she said about Thomas Merton : some of us are basically hermits. I've always felt weird in this society because of it. But maybe its okay. Yet we all need connection, in one way or another. To be able to give and receive. I just can't seem to find the path though. Anyway THANK YOU THANK YOU. What a beautiful soul.....I aspire to find all the beauty she has found. Bless her, all day and night long. Much love sister.

Hang in there. Start by walking in nature…then maybe do an anonymous act of kindness for another human…get sun…take magnesium from FarmHaven (it helps you sleep, decreases anxiety and stops palpitations etc.). Maybe quietly volunteer somewhere (e.g., packing bins at a food bank-no expectations, no need to talk much…meeting genuine people)… You matter ❤

I took note of her simply living the prius...I have a rocket stove...very genius living in her vehicle,, bed and food pantry. No build is very possible as you live...no expensive equipment and electrical products..really inspired me to see a different side of making a home in four walls...its your RV dear..meaning you have four walls therefore your home...i had to live in my vehicle for 3 months in the spring time was cold...I had a PO Box and storage unit...SS for me too...I stayed in my town so very familar...I was organized and clean...and a routine....the car was very old not best condition but it ran...and i had a upper respiratory infection very unfortunate...I like your way of living under your style....Bob can you give Laura my message, and thank her for her testimony and her grace and peaceful and challenging but successful living experience...TY Bend, Oregon USA 🇺🇸 🎉🎉🎉

According to Ornish, after a few weeks on whole plant foods no will power is needed for disease reversing lifestyle because nobody wants to give up the joy of good health and return to unhealthy foods. What is unique about Laura's situation is that the solo car life avoids social situations which bring unhealthy foods to us and the simplest foods are the healthiest and easiest and actually most cost effective. Laura is a model for us all! Minimal caffeine also with just the cacao. Her diet and use of veg powders also is a major step toward the ultimate balance in the microbiome: the garden of 10 trillion microbes that in balance with the right fiber foods churn out the healing short chain fatty acids and neurotransmitters that are the source of joyful balance and healing. So glad Bob found this modern day Buddha to share the precepts that make us aware of the cause of suffering so common today!

Laura is the most unique nomad that Bob has interviewed. She has truly found the path that has transformed her life from unhealthy to healthy. Good whole foods has made her health transform. I read his work years ago, decided to visit Abbey of Gethsemani where he studied, wrote and is buried, located Bardstown, Kentucky … The peace of just being in that place is immeasurable..
