I love this sermon, because God gave me a letter to write to my local churches about implementing a matchmaking marriage programs. Churches have people growing up and getting old in church while the world do everything they can to get people married without God. They raise their children without knowledge of God because they have no knowledge of him. Single woman and men would come to church looking for husbands where they will also find God instead of drugs and unwanted pregnancies in the world.

I really needed to hear this. I have been single for a little over a year now and am very lonely. I have been praying and searching for a good husband. I have felt discouragement, sadness, and feeling left out. I will continue to build a closer relationship with God and continue to believe in Him and KNOW He has a perfect husband for me that will fulfill all of my needs and desires. Some at the church are filled with fear!I came out of Times Square church and after church I went to the local Starbucks for a cup of coffee.I saw a woman from church and I offered to pay for her coffee and a snack since I was behind her on line and she objected to me paying for her!I was being a gentleman and eventually she let me pay.We got on a train together only 2 stops and we talked for a couple minutes-but she had such a look of fear!I knew her from an earlier meeting in Starbucks after church where me and my daughter were together!

If anyone sees this, please pray for me. A young man and i were "courting," he is a believer and loves the Lord...humble, gentle guy. He has a health condition, though (which he told me about on our first date)..and it's the only thing that prevents him from moving forward with me. He didn't want to continue only because of his condition ..with how we feel about each other, we can't just be friends, so we stopped talking about a week ago.. he said he needed some time, and that we'd just have to see what the Lord would do. He's an answer to prayer in so many ways..he lives nearby, we get along so well, theres an attraction, he encouraged me to forgive, perservere in difficultly. I almost passed him by because at a passing glance, he maybe didn't seem remarkable in the eyes of the world. But I'm glad to even just have known him. At one point, he said he hoped I could be his wife, and based on what I have seen of him so far, he is someone I would let lead me, someone I would have married. Honestly my hearts desire is that the Lord would bring us together. I'd love to come alongside someone like that.

Wow I’m always surprised when I hear a pastor who has such a concern for singles, there are so few. This is such a difference from the you’ll be happy without a spouse the rest of your life sermons you mostly hear these days. I can’t help but lose some respect for pastors who try to convince you late in life that never being married in your fifties and no children is just no big deal. I like how this pastor deals with this issue even though it’s too late for me. I hope young people listen to this carefully life isn’t long and it’s easy to be persuaded to go in the wrong direction like I was.

Way l see it is he's talking about the God shaped hole that's in all of us, that nothing else can fill, which is right, but that's not the same thing as loneliness. I have been a born again, blood bought Christian for over 30 years but for the first time in my life am experiencing loneliness due to bereavement. They're two completely different things.

You dont need a man to be saved and you dont need to be water baptized to be saved. Just confess that JESUS CHRIST is the Lord, believe in your HEART that God has raised Him from the dead. Pastors cannot change anyone. The church is a place for sinners, saved and spiritually sick people. The word of God is what changes peoples hearts, as people keep coming to church they become transformed from inside out through the word. If mature believer are living together, they can be called out, but if the pastor does the same to new people who are just engaging with church and God, he will loose them and they may never go to any church again in their life.

A woman cannot be a pastor or a teacher of the Bible in the church. Because it is the task of a man to teach his wife. Even out of the church, everything women knows and do have been taught to them by men. Women drive because men did it first and taught them. Women cook because men did it first (the greatest chef are men) Women play sports because men started it.. I can go on and on, but that is the order God has appointed. There are some case tho where women can teach. But even in those case, those women still have to be under the authority of men (their husbands), because that’s the order by God.

The Bible say’s in Acts chapter 2; In the last days my sons and my daughters will prophesy......... this means they will be a voice for God. When the apostle Paul said “ I do not allow a woman to teach we must remember that in chapter 7 of first Corinthians Paul talks about giving his opinion about something. He makes a distinction between what he thinks and what God commands. Many men today get into the ministry for the money they can get. God is short of real men of God. If God was willing to use a mule to rebuke a foolish prophet. Why would he not use a godly woman??? We need the voice of God today!! He can speak to to me through a mule or he can speak to me through a real woman of God. God does not change, he used a woman in the Old Testament when there was a need, and he can do it today! There was more then one woman used by God in the Old Testament!!! So, God bless sister Tresa for being a helpmate to her godly husband!!!!

Expand your thinking then...seeking godly council, psalms 1... 1thes5;16-21 What denomination are you linked to ? What fountain do you drink from. ? If a woman comes under the spiritual authority of a church/ leadership then its ordained from scripture if their led by the Spirit....they will find a place where the lord will use the giftings within them , they will not seek a pedestal for themselves, but a supportive role.... Beware of self seeking, solo deceivers nowadays...many are out there. Paula white, Joyce meyer, the many fake apostles, revivalists, etc etc.... Look at 48:55,,, she only edifies his sermon. Man & woman, the lord uses 2 too make 1.." she " has qualities which man needs in order to be reproductive & vise versa..... See all the examples of women & their leading roles in the bible..... Paul alone, credits many for their leadership roles in supporting the Church & sharing the gospel....

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, please be aware that God's Word clearly says that women are not allowed to preach and that they should keep silent in the churches. 1 Timothy 2,11-12: Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 1 Corinthians 14,34-35: the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. I love Pastor Carter Conlon and his sermons have played a big part in my coming to Jesus Christ, but what he and his wife are doing here is wrong. This is not about my personal opinion, it's about what the Word of God says.

Hi to all that belive in the most high and our Lord Jesus Christ let me start by saying not every one is marriage marital. Not every one find there way home Paul never found his true love and he never married Elijah never married and he was taken up by God the same as Enoch and Seth the same as Peter he saw his own death and he never married James his own brother died and never married Samson and deliah never married but confessed in each other's love Prophet Joshua killed 34 kings and 35 th king he let him live and when he met the high priest in his bloody cloths he never married l. Moses married out side the Jewish law and married a nomads daughter Maria . John the Devine disappears with out a trace he never married. Samuel the prophets never married their are so many people that sever our God the farther but never married are we to say that because they never married does this mean that they are born out of wedlock lots of people in our time are born out of wedlock. Same as the days of old. Now through his sermon he starts saying put God first is the real issue for all men and women today and children we do not know how to put God first so we find out later We are not mature enough for what our farther has for us but when we put him first we see all things. This statement is not condemning this pastor but it shows he has not done his home work on this issue why are young woman and men in the house of God never married ever now are so old and pass it . So sad. Who wants us now lol. Only our farther x in Jesus name x stay blessed stay safe keep reading ur bible. From Zion . Servent of the most high.

I think it is wrong to let women be pastors, it is unnatural for women to be above men, let the world run down that path of destruction and demand 50% of leaders to be women no matter qualifications.. but truth be told a woman will never have authority like a man, we need men to be bold again, and not shaped in the image of the world. God I hope the church changes that, because it is so genuine and has such a strong commitment to the word.. surrender whatever keeps it from being perfect in the ways of christ, if women should have their hair covered during prayer, do it.. just submit to the scriptures whatever they may command.
