I didn't wait at all and my luggage was in my room when I got there. If you stay in a Penthouse you still go through the same line but no waiting room. When I stay in the Haven it's direct, cut the line, no waiting at all. NCL Joy NY / Bermuda 8/23. Next is same but 6/23/24

I am boarding the Norwegian Joy in about a week and a half ( October 11th) . We are taking the peterpan bus in to port authority from Rhode Island. Fyi. There is a waterway bus you can get right outside of port authority that takes you right down to the Pier. Getting very excited about my cruise. Thanks for the tips and tour.

Hello hope you enjoy your cruise. I sailed to Bermuda on the Joy in May. If i may suggest . Try the specialty dinning La Cuciana Restaurant food is delicious. You will love H2O deck. Also tey the Local food is really good. When you arrive in Bermuda please try Frog and Onion at the Navy Dock yard. Take the ferry over to Hamilton ( cost is $ 9.00 r/t. When there go to Swizzle Inn . I know from previous videos you love beaches i recommend Horseshoe Beach. Take shuttle bus ( $7.00) eachway and they leave you off right at the apot to walk to beach. Pick up to return is the samw spot they drop you off. The caves are cool to do. I was in port for 3 full days and it was great to really see and do while there. My favorite place to go on a cruise.

We are considering leaving from NYC next year for an East coast New England cruise on MSC. It's on our radar at least.

Sailing out from NYC is very convenient if you're in the tri-state area. If you have to fly in, consider White Plains/Westchester County if it works. My guess is that an Uber is about $70 going in and coming out on the weekend. It maybe about $100 coming out during weekday AM rush hour traffic or possible surge pricing. TD is right about the delay getting onboard. If I may suggest, if your MSC package offers this, arrange your specialty dining. Then grab a bite in the sit down unless you don't mind the buffet crowds. If there are a lot of kids, be prepared for school cafeteria mayhem. Then grab a drink (you will pay port taxes on your drink regardless if you're on a drink plan or not), go to the top deck, right side. The Statue of Liberty will be on the right and just passing under the Verrazano Bridge is pretty cool. Enjoy your trip!

Your wait to board is bad! Is it a NYC problem? We sailed from Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Barcelona, Southampton, maybe an hour wait each.

NYC had internet problems the first time. Second we were on in 20 minutes!!!

We went to Bermuda July 2023. Same port. NYC. It was a DISASTER. Almost 4 hours. The WIFI was down.They had to check EVERYONE in by HAND. Even the food venders in the terminal ran out of snacks and closed.
