You should sooooo release a cheap model, just the base car with little wheels and no body kit. Those things look badass.

what they should have done was instead of having 3 E series, they should just have 2. E1 original then E2 with all the E3 interiors only and leave the exteriors alone and that's it. I guess this is what happens if they let a child do the design. Then they moved all the 2013 models to have the same power output? The GTS should have like at least 20kws over the Clubsport.

No need, It's automatic cred if you have a HSV as most of the population can only afford cheap underpowered SUV imports or small cars these days! If you have a sub $100k 430kw car of ANY sort there is no problem getting any street cred. lol You forget it's not a 1200kg 2 door supercar, It's a family sized 1800+kg all round sedan that does 0-100 in under 4.5 seconds, Not too bad at all getting all that 740nm torque to gain traction on a RWD car. Look will grow on people just like previous models

the VF HSV front end looks great but the back ruins the whole car, no guy is gonna gain cred from driving around a car with a back end that looks like a Toyota.. the ultimate HSV would have the VF front end with the VE beastly back end!

big shame me being motor mechanic for over 20 years and to think to look forward to always working on aussie icon even in tafe days, working on older VP-VY holdens. the battle of ford and holden is now gone. even in general men talk day to day.. big shame the icon is gone... working on cars today is absolutely boring!

I think the dude in the video is a salesman, he was dribbling some shit. 1. If, during the early days of HSV, when they would make 2 cars per week, how is it that "most of the guys that work here have been here since the beginning"? I highly doubt they would have had 50 workers building one car. The original core group of employees would have been eclipsed by the influx of newer employees required to keep up with demand. 2. The dude says that HSV's are hand built without a robot in sight. I remind the dude that Holden use robots in the manufacturing process of the core vehicle. 3. I would hardly say that HSV 'build" a car, seeing as though a good 85% of the manufacturing process is already completed by the time it arrives at Clayton. They're more of a "supplemental assembler". But having said that, I'd still own one, just don't bullshit me and make yourselves out to be something you're not, like saying you're a fully fledged manufacturer.

I was about to write a couple of points you've made, but you ended up covering way more. I agree whole heartedly. It's one thing slapping body panel parts to a core car and calling them HSV, and another thing insulting our intelligence with how they are hand made. But I still want one!

+No Way thanks mate. I thought their spin was a little bit of a stretch. They should give us a bit more respect than trotting out some pretty obvious bullshit. I agree, I'd own pretty much any HSV on the market today. But I'd like to see GTS spec power across the range as an option, even as an "off menu" option, like a 430kw manual wagon.

Well said, also the fact there blokes there that look like they just left school is saying a lot and also a lot of indians and pakistanis as well, hum looks like the majority of the workers get paid a below average wage and casual at that, all the long term workers are in management and not on the floor, if anything they are ex panel shop workers and then go through the induction of HSV, which is put the cars together as quickly as possible ? Also the GEN F range and the LAST W1 is still the same starts off as a factory GEN F GTS and just remove what is required and then put on what is required and then ask over 70K more than the base price of the GTS,but dont tell anyone and now you have the W1 going for over 110K more than the cost price ? Also not letting the general public know as well is something holden should have been taken to court over that issue ?
