What's the benefit of designing in Figma before going to Framer? Can't seem to get a clear answer to it. Many people seem to just design straight in Framer.

Help me, the animation in the first image doesn't work like mine, my animation doesn't have that 3d effect even though I make it like you. It seems as if framer changed that behavior. What can I do?

Why use figma at all then? Genuine question.

True. I found out it falls down to that stuff where a service tries to make another obsolete. Framer tries to make the gap between a web design and the live website narrower so some features from figma are made redundant. But figma is still a good place to start as it's more flexible because framer's editing is very much based on html, css and javascript attributes to make launching straight forward

Cool, thanks! Could you also explain how to distribute variables across multiple files? I know that for styles it was very easy, just go to Libraries and switch it on. But I still didn’t find a way to do this with variables

Hey! Using variables across files in Figma is still not feasible. This is what they say "As a workaround, either recreate the variables in the destination file, or duplicate the original file."
